Expensive Sony dongle only :( as the drivers for the Sony dongle are pre-loaded. You should be able to get around it with a bridging wireless router and run a standard RJ45 network cable from that into the back of the tv (or if the tv is near to your existing router, just run a cable from there).

Does anyone have this model? What is is the input lag like? It says in the reviews that it is 40ms, which would be quite bad for pc gaming I think.

Is there a way to get this with a 5 year guarantee at this price? My dad wants a 5 year guarantee with whatever tv he gets having being stung on a Philips in the past. Do John Lewis give you this price and the 5 year warranty?

HDTVTest.co.uk

The Sony KDL32EX403 features around 40ms of input lag, when compared to a lag-free CRT monitor. This is a tolerable figure that will probably go generally unnoticed, but speaking as someone who’s on the lookout for it and who is used to very fast displays, the difference was noticeable in the first-person shooter games I demo’d on the TV. In fact, the slight delay in images hitting the screen had the interesting effects of making the game controls feel tighter and weightier, and bizarrely, it gave fast-paced “one hit and you’re dead” games an almost peaceful feeling (assuming you’re still winning, that is).

They should do if you can get them to price-match this set. I've never tried to do with with JL but I'm tempted to pull the trigger and buy this set. After my 46" Sharp LCD TV that I bought from Empire Direct with a "5 year warranty" which has now completely screwed up, I'll only ever buy TV's with at least a 3 year warranty.

40ms is very high, you will definitely notice the difference especially is your coming from a 2-5ms monitor. If you want response times remember everything else plays a factor like mouse delay (avoid wireless mice).

M&S doing it with a 5 yr guarantee for £50 more but i think i read somewhere that you can get a 5 yr Sony guarantee by getting the store to stamp a form for you.Not sure how you go about it but someone on here will know.

Looking to get this tv myself, just been on the Comet website and been put on hold as it is so busy.

If you got a Best Buy, Currys, PCWorld near your Comet better trying there first.

Not much of a discount but better than nothing.

Best Buy also give you a £10 gift card (don't know if Currys / PCWorld or Comet do that as well).

Best Buy £349.99 after price match and 10% the difference = £294.99

Currys / PCWorld £349.00 after price match and 10% the difference = £295.09 :)

Does this have a VGA input? The reviews (pictures from hdtv test mainly) suggest it does, but Comet website says otherwise.
#22
Looks like Amazon is price matching
#23
Same with Play.com - Does seem a good deal with freeview HD as well.

Would it be worth waiting until the January sales tho?

It says PARTICIPATING STORES only... no evidence anywhere that Comet are "participating stores."

Both M&S and JL are doing this with 5 year Warranty & delivery for £4449
#26
John Lewis are doing this for £299.
