This tv is cr-p! its a low end tv!

This TV isn't a 'proper' Sony, and has no Bravia engine (or certainly not the same engine as other LCDs anyway).

Unfortunately, NOT hot. Sorry.

You can get a Tosh or Sammy of much better quality for this price.

I agree. The 32S3000 is available from Amazon for £429, which isn't a massive difference, for a much better set.

You can get the 32S3000 for £422 from Costco with 5 year warranty -->DEAL

So what is the difference between the 32U3000 and the 32S3000 ?

Comparing them on the sony website, the features look virtually identical. I note one is Bravia Engine, and the other is Bravia theatre sync.

although this might be 1 thing on the list, the lack of a Bravia engine is a massive difference between the 2 sets

i bought the S3000 from Costco and the picture quality is fantastic.

I own both TV's, the U and the S series and as perfectly put earlier the U is "GASH" compared to the S.

Depends if you want 'full hd - 1080p' or whether you're happy with 1080i.

If 1080i is enough for you, Samsung LE26A456C, Samsung LE32A436T, Toshiba 32AV505D or Panasonic TX32LMD70 are in this sort of price bracket.
