Argos are discounting £50 for TVs £500 and over, bringing the £599.99 to £549.99.

Plus the Sony promotion gives an extra £50 off this model. If buying online, use code SONY50, bringing the TV to £499.99

Then as part of the initial Argos offer, they are also giving an additional £50 voucher, this expires 8/6/10 (tomorrow!), bringing the deal to potentially £449.99. Not bad considering the next best price is £513 at Amazon (with 10% voucher) and £569.99 at Play.com...

Also, free standard home delivery @ Argos on TVs.

Can also do some decent deals with the other Sony models involved in the Sony promotions (up to £200 off), along with the Argos deals, just decided to post this one...

Hope this helps someone out!

See below links for voucher details:

Well, £90 if taking into account the Argos £50 voucher. Plus, for people like me with small rooms, 40" TVs would look silly. This is a good price for the particular model described...

Edit: Looking at the Argos site, you can get the 40" version for £539.99 (£639.99 minus £50 Argos automatic discount minus £50 Sony discount) and then an additional £50 Argos voucher (expires 8/6/10), making it £489.99... Though no 5 year warranty as with the link you posted above, but still cheaper.

Good price - I happily (at the time!) paid £570 for one of these in April! Still very pleased with my purchase though.

But if you use the Sony code to take it down £499 then surely you're not spending the full £500 required to get the voucher ?

Touché,

point taken - I wouldn't know. I'd hope that they meant the initial price of the TV? May have to look at the terms and conditions for that one

For those who dont know, the SONY dont make the 32 and 37" panels in there LCDs. The quality is still good but reviews indicate they are inferior to there bigger sized cousins.

I am amazed that this isn't hot.

The better deal is the second one mentioned. You can pick up the 40" 40ex403 for £489 (£589 - £50 sony voucher - £50 discount for tvs over £500 and - £50 argos voucher given). That is an absolute bargain.

Plus 1.5% quidco.

Heat and rep added.
