Just seen this at bestbuy for £428.99 which i know isn't the best price for this tv thats been posted but theres also 10% quidco cashback on offer which brings it down to £386.09 which doesn't seem too bad.

Comet has £19.95 delivery charge on top which makes it £418.95 against £386.09 from bestbuy??

you are including quidco though. which is never guaranteed, and not everyone uses. and from what i hear, people have had a lot of problems with bestbuy and quidco

I missed sony centre deal... only 2 days... with free 5 year warranty for 400
where can I still get one for that price? With free 5 year warranty obviously.

You can still get this TV for £399 at Amazon, Play, Comet & Richer Sounds, but the Sony Centre, John Lewis and M&S deals with 5 year warranty have all ended. If a 5-year warranty really is a must, Richer Sounds will do it for £440.

There have been threads on the free 5-year warranty offered by Sony, but it was apparently designed for smaller, independent stores and it's highly likely that if you try going down that route Sony will not honour the deal (as you'll have bought the TV from somewhere like Sainsburys, Comet, Amazon or Richer Sounds and they are either selling it online or are not one of the participating dealers).
