Make sure you clean your cookies before buying, a few people have had problems with best buy via quidco.

also 899 at John lewis with 5yr warranty but again without glasses.
I think 2 pairs of glasses and transmitter are about £200?? so it seems a good deal.

WELL BUST MY BALLS!! With the player too! Ignore my previous posts - well done Op..nice find!
#7
Read Reviews on this model about it's 3D before buying if you are buying it for 3D! But great find and price, I've voted Hot! In the market for the HX803 at mo!
Also, looks like its the 3D BluRay Starter Kit, so wondering if it comes with the 5 free bluray movies?!

Well I ordered a Sony 32" not long ago and it turned up fine ... they're the largest electrical retailer in the world and of course things might go wrong sometimes but rather buy from Best Buy or Comet than some other online only retailers !!

I took the plunge and ordered via Quidco which has tracked at £50...not quite 15% of £999.99. Not sure how they worked that out!
#14
Thought it sounded to good to be true, was just about to order

Going to email Quidco about it, as it states quidco is paid for the amount minus VAT and Delivery. Even if it was just paid on the TV minus the VAT it should be about £89, not £50.

does it mention anything about it first tracking at x, then increasing to y after it's been validated? I've seen a few like that where they initially track lower amount before being increased to the full amount once it validates.

Would love to know the answer, if it's £850 I'm ordering! Have been between this an the 42 inch Panasonic 3d. The Panasonic has a better picture but this telly looks stunning!! Just hope the 3d is watchable

not going to be £150 cash back as it's usually on the value excluding vat(unless my maths is off would be like £124-£125), still will be less than the £899 that most places are selling the tv on it own.

I bought this last night, quidco tracked at £150, very happy bunny :-)
#20
Well I went through to look at a Cashback Query about it being tracked at the wrong amount and Quidco say this:

"3. Cashback amount incorrect - Your cashback updated to validated or received status at the wrong cashback rate in the last 7 weeks."

So there is a chance it will be correct when validated/received.

Just ordered, fingers crossed on quidco. This deal is hotter than Megan Fox, cant believe it hasnt gone crazy, best 3d deal around
#22
Quidco has tracked at £150 cash back!! £850 is the bargain of the century, what a deal

Yours and someone elses Quidco tracked at £150...mine was only £50, going to be raising a query once it's been validated.

I've emailed best buy about this, as I think it will do as the Transmitter, 2 Glasses & BluRay player is basically the 3D Starter Kit Sony offered, so I dont think Best Buy would put those together themselves and lose the money from it!
#26
Fingers crossed, dont get mine till friday

Received mine today, Best Buy have put the package together themselves, all items are in separate boxes, it is not the 3d Starter Kit, so no films.

Gutted! Still the best 3d telly deal! Do Sony have any exclusive films like other companies like Panasonic with avatar?

Time to start 3d movie shopping
#30
After 24 hours with the TV, I cannot say a bad word about it! I love it!

Sky 3D looks awesome, I watched Resident Evil Afterlife 3D and that blew me away! The 3D effects in the film were awesome!

Really please with the deal! Im glad to have Sky as they are showing the films that come with the Sony Package, so I can just Sky+ them :)

Hoping Quidco Validates at the right amount, if not I'll just put a dispute through so they can look it and sort it :)

A very happy person :)
#31
Very impressed with the telly! Sky 3d looks amazing!!! Gonna see if I can rent resident evil tomorrow. Avatar 3d is back on sat 5 th feb, can't wait

I'd highly recommend Resident Evil! Thanks for the heads up with Avatar! I'll Sky+ that :)

Also, Quidco has tracked at £150 now :D Beyond happy!
#33
Did you buy resident evil? Or can you rent it from blockbuster?

I heard this telly suffers from ghostin, my picture looks perfect!! Glad I went for this telly.

Can't believe this deal hasn't gone crazy
#34
I bought it. You can get it from My Memory in the 2 for £20 offer.

I've heard alot of negative things about this telly, like Ghosting, Clouding, Buzzing from the TV, I must of been lucky as I have no problems at all!

I am shocked too how this has not gone crazy! The deal is no longer available but so glad I jumped and bought it!

Just playing GT5 now and I love it, the 3D is awesome :D
#35
Was a bit disappointed with gt5, doesn't really come out of the screen, call of duty black ops looks fantastic in 3d. Got piranha 3d on eBay for a tenner! My memory is out of stock for resident evil at the moment.

Haven't looked at the bluray player, think it's going on eBay as I use the ps3,
#36
I must say that i'm very jealous. I'm still waiting for a good deal on the 46 inch version...
#37
Just an update for anyone that's interested, got the £150 Quidco paid into my bank account on 4th May, brilliant TV well worth the wait for the Quidco :-)
