This is the best 32" that Sony currently offer. If you go to PC World, and ask them to price match with empiredirect.com (as I did this morning), they will do the TV for £539.99. Next cheapest I've found it is at empiredirect.com themselves, who are selling it for £599.99. PC World will knock off a further £60 on top of the price-match though, which brings the price right down.

No. (?) I mean the 32" version. This:

I don't know what's with the cold votes either; this is a bargain for this TV.

Maybe because its not available all that widely.

I know it wouldn't make a difference really on a small 32inch screen but this is missing 1080P unlike the new Toshiba 32XV...

Why will PC world knock another £60 off the price match price?
#6
I dont know why they would take another £60 off to match the price. They already make a point of not price matching TV's with websites. If they do price match they at best will do 10% of the difference. They sell for £799 Empire direct £599. 10% of difference is £20. If you managed to get it or the price you said well done but I'd be very surprised if many other people get this offer.

I think Dabs thinks PCWorld will knock 10% off the Empire price.
10% of £599 = £60

It's what they did, not what I think. The Leicester Fosse Park branch. I bought this TV this morning for £540 from them. Obviously, I can only apologise if other stores don't do this though.
