It's a good deal for this TV but it's not a good deal for a 37" HD TV in my opinion. How on earth does one vote on that ;-)

£449.99 for a 22,000:1 contrast ratio, sony and it has a 3 year warranty, please show a cheaper price for a same sort of spec model.

I shall quote myself

"It's a good deal for this TV"

Full HD I would expect, and my Toshiba has a lower contrast ratio and side by side puts the Sony to shame. It's just numbers, forget it.

i'd rather go for the full hd option Click here

Sony I am sure would kick the lgs **** 1080p isnt magical, as sky hd is only broadcasted in 1080i anyway. + 3 yr warranty.

720p vs 1080p

22.000:1 vs 15,00:1

Sony vs LG

3 year warranty vs no added warranty

V series newer vs old lg model

lg vs sony in looks i believe sony wins.

have just bought one of these for 408 including RAC discount from play.com. think its gone up now... Can tell you its a fantastic 720 panel and well worth 450 by all accounts. Still voted hot! Am using with a HD WD box... wow!

Please tell me whether this deal is different from the one given below which gives you a 5 year warranty. I would prefer a 5 year to a 3 year warranty for a trifle extra. There are similar 5 year warranty deals with John Lewis as well.

Yes, a 3 year warranty deal is different to a 5 year warranty deal ;-)

You need to just face the fact that your deal isn't that great. Im quite sure some people would like to watch there Blu-Rays or play their PS3/XBOX 360 games in 1080p. Your talking like theres no use in having a 1080p TV.

For the 37" this is a good deal and with the added guarantee is on a par with the M&S deal.

Shout as much as you like but for 100 quid more than the 32" for a viewing distance of 8ft this is a good buy with the warrantee.

Forget the facts and figures if you want an up to date model 37" from a good mark such as Sony go for it.

If you too wana fight I'm sure there is a car park around here somewhere where you can be no help to each other init..............
