This stylish TV is a real all-rounder, offering a range of functions to meet all your viewing needs. Whether you're catching an episode of your favourite TV drama, watching a Hollywood blockbuster, gaming or streaming video from the internet, this TV has it covered - you can even use it as a digital photoframe.

As far as picture goes, Sony's Bravia Engine 3 delivers images of impressive depth and clarity with pin-sharp contrast. Live Colour and Advance Contrast Enhancer make colours pure and vivid, and tones remarkably true-to-life. So whatever you're watching - from deep-space sci-fi to colourful nature documentaries - the picture will be crisp and clear.

One-touch Scene Select enables you to switch the picture and sound settings to best suit what you're watching. A range of Eco Settings - such as Light Sensor - allow you to adjust screen brightness and help reduce energy consumption.

Film buffs will appreciate 24p True Cinema, which presents movies exactly as the director intended, as well as the advanced S-Force Front Surround, which gives room-filling digital surround sound from just two front speakers. Voice Zoom allows you to adjust voice levels without changing the background volume.

You can enjoy video, music and photo content from your computer through DLNA home networking technology. You can also view information from the internet on-screen while watching TV with AppliCast. The USB Media Player also makes it simple to share your favourite photos, music or videos on the big screen.

With four HDMI inputs, connection to multiple High Definition sources, such as Blu-ray Disc and PlayStation3, is easy.

Yeah but that's not one of the best reviewed TV series of 2009. :whistling:

wazza
how does it compare to the S model?

W is way better (I have a 32" S Series and a 40" W Series and the difference is amazing, especially in High Def (blu-ray and PS3 games).

I was pleased with the S series when I bought it, but the W is definately better.

Also the S is only 720p and 50hz whereas the W is 1080p and 100hz

yes, just register the TV on the Sony website
