As it says in the title, Costco are selling the new Sony KDL40EX713 for just under 700 quid with a 5 year warranty.

Note: The price is actually 822 at time of payment but with the VAT back scheme, it comes in at 699.

Best price I've seen for this super slim edge lit LED with the 5 year warranty.

Hope this is helpful to someone.

Good spot, but you'll probably get some stick for not putting in the price after VAT, (just a heads up)

When I was looking for a TV last year I enquired about the Costco 5 year guarantee and was informed that you had to remain a member for the 5 years for the guarantee to be effective.

Picked one up today - the warranty is with Sony so no need to remain a Costco member as confirmed by the staff there today.

Good price, I paid £900, including VAT and 5 Year Guarantee, at Sony Outlet Cheshire Oaks.
I had to register the TV online at Sonex UK for the 5 year Warranty.

They dont like the SLIGHT bleeding of the LED's at the corners when watching a wide screen film with the black bars top and bottom.
Me? yes I can see them, when close to the screen in the dark.
In the real world, I can easily ignore them and watch the film.
The setup of the TV out of the box is not right, and needs adjusting.
Watched the new extended Blu-ray of Avatar yesterday. Brillant. Some scenes almost 3D, even when sober!
HTH's.
