Paid about £400 more for this telly at Xmas so this is a real bargain if I ever saw one. Price is after trade in.

Check terms, this is not cos I want nor need heat, I will not defend this thread like it was my child. This is purely for a heads up to those genuinely interested.

Good luck

Posted a week or so ago: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sony-kdl40nx713-40-full-hd-1080p-3d-lcd-tv-5-year-warranty-included-599-rgb-dire/917023

Please note the price includes a £200 trade in on an old telly (although you can effectively make this up, they don't actually ask for you to produce one, although apparently Sony *may*contact you). Also, you have to collect instore if you want the 5 year warranty.

What's the difference between this and the other Sony 3D tv posted at m&s?

Will this require a Sony dongle for internet access ?

Seems a very good deal, but could someone enlighten me on the following.......

What does this entail ? :-

"Fully HD 3D Capable" ?? "Upgrade .......with optional Active Shutter Glasses and 3D Transmitter ........" ??

Also, need to read to the bottom to notice:-

"Optional Designer Stand .............(this can be added from essential items)" ???

The TV is 3D ready (100 Hz) but you'll have to get sony's 3d transmitter (~£50) and glasses (~£80 a pair) to use the 3D.

The optional stand will be this one

http://www.rgbdirect.co.uk/ProductDetails.asp?SKUNumber=111951&Model=SONY-SUB400S

It has 2.1 speakers built in, fairly essential if you're not using home theatre as the sound on this telly is very average to say the least (excellent in all other regards, though).

This tv was stated to have freeview hd but unless I'm going mad I can only see the digital freeview options. Bit disappointed really. Good service at Rgb and the tv is excellent.
