Good deal. Any 40" Sony at this price has to be.

I bought the Toshiba 40" Smart TV with inbuilt wifi on Black Friday for £289 but Citylink "lost" it and as it is now out of stock, they're giving me the next model up (4x HDMI, 2xUSB) at no extra cost. Its just for our "good room" so it won't get a lot of serious use.

But will companies never learn? At this time of the year Citylink, Yodel, Hermes etc would take on anyone with a 4 door car to deliver stuff and items such as a tv, ipad (my brother's got "lost" last year), games console or mobile phone might as well have "NICK ME" written on them in large red letters. The CS rep in Tescos told me they have no hope of ever getting my original tv back.

I ordered a 39 inch Samsung and Citylink "lost" mine too, absolute joke!

Does anyone know if the picture quality is better on this TV or the Samsung UE40H5500? I want a TV for between £250 - £350 with the best quality picture; I'm not bothered about all those smart functions and tosh like that.

Personally I'd say the samsung, they appear to be the best quality all-round TV's out there

PS. If its for gaming the samsung hands down
