Saw this TV in Costco, Cardiff. Very good picture (excellent reviews) but no freeview HD and only 50 hz. This was a deal breaker for me but thought someone else may want this. Still very good price as elsewhere it is selling for over £600 plus you have the five year guarantee from Costco

FreeviewHD is not even a year old, do not expect it on bargain TVs until well until next year tbh.

Unfortunately I can't help but compare this to the M&S £370 40inch Sony of a few months back and that had 5 years warranty, so not voting, hopefully similar will return at Christmas when I expect HDTV sales will go nuts and those with more money than sense will go 3DTV.

Seen quite a few TVs with freeview HD at about £400 so.. Also the M&S deal is long gone.

May not have freeview HD but does have freeview tuner as well as freesat which is HD. All you need is to have a dish already (perhaps an old sky dish, or a spare feed from a current one)

Indeed by Chrismas FreeviewHD boxes should be £40 or less given they are £50 now.
I prefer FreesatHD/SkyHD FreeToView given bigger range of HD mind.

would the bigger range be that much sought after channel - luxe tv? unless of course you want to pay for the other ones...
