BUYER BEWARE - Waited on Four, yes, four occassions, for their courier. failed to turn up. Took 4 days off work.

Call centre useless, keep you waiting on the phone for very long periods, tell you they will phone you back but dont.

Customer service is absolutely appauling. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I've heard enough bad things about BestBuy to put me off for life.

TV is same price at Amazon.

Red Hot - Smoking hot. This is an unbeatable price with the Quidco/Topcashback. This is not the same net price at Amazon at all; you'd be nuts to buy from Amazon.

Courier companies are useless - nothing to do with the retailer. They use HSN, same as Amazon!!!

I think theres alot of good reviews aswell and at this price its definately worth a punt.

Please AVOID.

I ordered an item on 16th NOVEMBER, they took my money on 24th, have lied to me several times about it being sent out, wouldn't supply a tracking number, told me it hasn't been sent and it's in a warehouse, it's DHL's fault apparently.

They have also told me they don't know when it will be sent from their warehouse.

To cut it short, they've had my money for 25 DAYS, and have lied to me continuously the whole time about it.

They send me e-mails telling me they will respond in 24 hours, then ignore me for 3-4 days.

When I have tried phoning they have answered after waiting 25-30 minutes each time. Then when they can't give me an answer they "transfer" me (i.e. cut me off)

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE save yourself the hassle I've had.

No one should take four days off work waiting for a courier. Make better arrangements.

good price

I would consider this one - here for a 46" TV. Yes, it is much expensive but much more superior specs.

I have emails from them, making statements which are blatant lies. We'll see what the courts say if they fail to compensate me for my time wasted on their once good but now shady business practices. They have **** off the wrong guy here.

Same. I have loads of e-mails from them lying to me, and telling me something completely different in the next e-mail.

If I had known the time and effort (and additional money) I would spend on chasing for my item, I would not have even bothered chasing it, I would have just written it off.

One of my items (I originally ordered 2) was for my daughters birthday present. I told them I'd like to cancel it as they had taken an extra 2 weeks to deliver and I wouldn't have it in time, and they told me they had cancelled it anyway (despite previously saying it was in the post to me)

Sickening.

I drove past one of their stores today in Hedge End, didn't realise it was there before. Might pop in in a few days to kick up a fuss (even though it's not their fault, it's still the same company, so me causing a scene in front of Christmas shoppers might liven things up a bit!)

Home delivery network are as bad as he says. Left 2 £130 hard drive in an outhouse and never posted a note through the door, they were in freezing cold for 3 days! I also got a TV off them and they delivered when they said but were very unprofessional, a man and a van with a mobile.

Cant decide between this and the Samsung (LINK) - code works as I tried it.

Any help?

Sony costs around £526 and Samsung around £455 depending on Quidco.

You can't use the quidco for reserve and collect - so you are effectively paying £100 more than getting it delivered ... just a thought if you don't need it too quick.;)

so are you telling me that i SHOULDN'T buy from bestbuy X)

Erm, same here - loads of problems with Best Buy; vastly overdue delivery, 9 different stories from Best Buy about the problems!

I bought a new Sony KDL46EX713 TV from BestBuy last week. Got delivered on Saturday for Free, said would be anytime 8am to 6pm and it arrived 8am on the dot, just one hour before the heavy snowfall that has gridlocked Birmingham. :-)

TV is £1099.99 got £163.79 back from Quidco (Tracked within an hour) and will get another £163.79 back from Sony VAT back offer. So got the TV for £772.41. BARGAIN.

I'd have to give BestBuy 5* for price and service. Got good emails, phone calls to tell me my delivery was arriving its all good. But this is jsut my experience, I would personally recommend this deal. Brilliant.

Also this TV is amazing!!!!
