"To qualify for free delivery, there is a minimum order value of £20 excluding VAT."

No idea, but I would (and just have) pay 20 quid for a leather one. Good spot OP!

Yeah, good price for this deal but whoever paid the RRP needs their heads checking!
#7
Nice - Have some heat

You need to be a member of AV forums to get free delivery

the NET value should be greater than 20. Just adding the headphones wont take your basket to 20. Find some other product to replace the headphones.

The free delivery is £20 Excluding VAT. So you end up spending about £24 to get the free delivery. You also need a certain amount of posts on Hexus (at least you used to). Or av forums (not sure of the details on that one).

The minimum post count is no longer requred but you need to link the accounts

Thanks for the info, it's been a while, guess it got a bit too big for them to check. :)

good deal! but I just bought one

Any bag with any computer branding on it is bound to get nabbed. Nice bag but the VAIO branding on it is screaming steal me. Especially in a leather bag.
#16
When someone nicks your laptop they'll be so disappointed there's not a Vaio inside. That being said, I wish there was a 17 version of this.

This looks like a nice deal to me. My new laptop is 15.6" as opposed to 15'4". Does anyone know if my 15.6" laptop should manage to fit into this?

Having said that it's still a pretty nice just for using generally. Carry on bag for travel etc etc.

Tempted!
#18
Would make a nice messenger bag, too.
#19
Voted Hot, but don't judge it based on the price direct from Sony!

£28.90 on Amazon as a fairer comparison.

Even still the Scan deal is great value.

i have created account now, Should i get free delivery? i am not member of AV forum

Yeah, good price for this deal but whoever paid the RRP needs their heads checking!

Agree.

But, Apple is charging £60 for an ipad screen cover (just a 10" piece of leather with some magnets stuck to it) and people have gone crazy with it! Surely their heads need checking first! :P

Quite small then, even to suse as a messenger bag instead.
#27
Echoing what others have added, the total must be 20.00 EX VAT.

To the main purchase:
Sony Vaio Original Leather Laptop M - £15.99 (EX VAT)
I added:
50pcs Cello Wrapped, Ritek/Traxdata - £5.79 (EX VAT)

That took me nicely to 21.78 - just over the 20.00 (EX VAT) mark.

Nice deal. Well spotted. Heat added.
#28
Ordered as a messenger bag. No way I'm putting my laptop in here, but looks great for uni :)

Got myself an extension cable I needed anyway so worked out well at £23

Heat added!
#29
Not bad even with P&P.
I wish it was a bit bigger, Scan is just down the road from me.
#30
Thank's OP!

If you're so inclined, you can quite easily buy some button badges to pin over the VAIO logo (which is very small in the first place).

I don't think it will make a difference to AV members as they just need to add something a little cheaper for free postage.

But if you are not entitled to free delivery then yep it will affect you.

A magnet clasp to secure a laptop? No thanks.

amazon sell it for 98.70
the 28 quid is some marketplaceseller with the stupidest name ever "Clearance IT. MOST ITEMS SENT SAME DAY!"
yeah its a high rrp but then it does look pretty decent.
think would probably fit a 15.6incher as the bag looks really square.
#39
The magnet just keeps the cover down. The laptop secured by an extra strap. Trust me the bag looks worth around 70 pounds
#40
It fits a Sony vaio 15. 5 snugly so it might just fit. If in doubt take laptop into Sony shop and try it
