Recently ordered from Play. They never delivered and never contacted me to say there was a problem with the order. Waited two weeks and then called them. Said they couldn't honour the offer but hadn't bothered to tell me. Won't be using them again.

Recently I've had a problem with Play fulfilling my order.

I waited over two weeks for my order to arrive, true I was on holiday for one week of that, but it took a phone call (don't they have an email address that one can write to?) to get the goods sent to me, so good luck if yours arrives without any problems!

They're good for running though - my Sony MDR-NC22's fall out on the treadmill.

Will be contacting Which magazine to do my bit to ensure that Play don't get the 'Which Best Online Retailer' award this year. They seem to have become complacent since winning it last year; their customer 'service' really does leave a bit to be desired....

Can we keep this focussed on the headphones, please.
Both sets get mixed reviews, so won't buy.
Good price though - thanks for the post.

To be honest I doubt you'd make much difference. You've had a bad experience, no retailer is perfect. Personally I've never had a problem with Play and the vast majority of people on this site would probably agree, perhaps you should get over it? :whistling:

Was only trying to make people aware of a personal experience with Play after I used an offer which was listed on this site. Chill. I thought that's what we were supposed to do - to help each other.

i have these: Sony MDR-AS20J Active Series Headphones

They are louder then most headphones because they are Active. If you like Rock and head banging while you listen then get these. A note put the volume done with these headphones!

MIne arrived today and I can't find fault.

I got the £11.99 ones and they're the most comfortable earbud phones I've used. The over ear parts make them feel much more comfortable and secure. Ordered a spare set for when these break, possible they'll last longer as the plastic ear loops should take any strain on the connections where I normally break them.

They sound just like the £18 sony and £6 creative earbuds I used to buy, I always found the key to getting good bass with this type of earphone is to use the right size rubber buds and push them in your ears pretty far for a tight fit otherwise it will be tinny.

Wouldn't buy the £8.99 ones, made that mistake before, impossible to fit comfortably with the neck band, they insisted on springing off at every opportunity and the headphones never sat on my ears well. Each to his own.
