Thanks. Just ordered a pair.

I've now lost 3 pairs of Sennheisers, so I'll see whether I have more luck with these :-D

I received these a couple of weeks ago...my thoughts in comparison the CX300s...

- The angled earbuds are great when wearing a hood up...I found that the CX300s would always pop out whenever I turned my head and the earbud brushed against the hood. Not so with the Sony ones...since they have an angle in them, a brush against the hood seems less likely to unseat them.
- The silicon bud has a hard silicon inner for connecting to the earphone, and results in the bud being less likely to come off. CX300 buds come off really easily, as they are comprised only of soft silicon.
- Comparable sound quality to the CX300s...not tried them "side-by-side", as I'd lost my 3rd pair of CX300s, but I'm personally very happy with the sound quality.
- Comes with a little winder for taking up excess cable length and also comes with a storage case...my last CX300s came with nada

Delighted with these for a tenner!

I might have been imagining it, but I swear I saw these at 6.99 the other day. Almost ordered at that price, but my ancient EX-71's from about 8 years back are still going strong so couldn't justify it! That and I still have some Shure SE-110's sitting in their box somewhere...

They should...

The thing is, Sennheiser CX300s retail for £40, can these really compare?

What are these like for leakage? I had some Sony phones before that were great sound quality but everyone else had to listen too.

Yes i have!...
although the 300s were my nephew's and not mine..
popped the larger buds on the 300s (he's medium sized)
and tested them both with my 24Gb Clip +
used a couple of Queen tunes for the test

imho...
they sounded better than the 300s :)
