Note: requires a compatible sony phone, as the phone itself performs the noise cancelling.

"Make sure your phone has the noise cancellation built into it, the earphones only work with certain sony phones."

.. apparently ONLY works with 5 pole audio jack devices so might actually be compatible with some Non-Sony handsets .
Is there a list of handsets with 5 pole jacks or a list of Non-Sony handsets that these earphones are compatible with?
(Trying to establish if the LG K520 has a 5 pole audio jack)

Optimised for Xperia Z3, Xperia Z2 and Xperia™ Z2 tablet. Also compatible with devices with 3.5 mm
5-pole audio connector. Functionality may vary between devices.
Note: MDR-NC31EM will not work with devices that do not have a 5-pole audio connector.
