decent price considering they are £14.99 up elsewhere. Must be getting cold due to being offered by Play.com. Heat added

Great headset, my mate has a pair, has had them for a few months now and they still work well!

Bought these on Amazon a week ago for £14.99 :(

Having tried both (plus many, many more), I completely disagree. I found the frequency range and general sound quality on the Sony cans a lot better (in fact I'm often left disapointed with most of the Sennheiser range, 90% of the cost is purely for the name).

The interpretation of music fidelity with your ears is different to the next persons; "One man's meat..........." and all that. Like you, I have tried many different pairs, some I've liked, some I haven't. I personally don't like Grado SR60's - damned uncomfortable, yet many people swear by them. I use a pair of Sennheiser HD555's because, not only do they sound OK, but I can wear them all the way through a 3 hour movie and listen for an afternoon to music without discomfort. And, yes, they do leak sound to the outside - they're not perfect. So please don't go making such sweeping statements - Your opinion is exactly that; your own!
