The Memory Stick Micro (M2) is designed to meet the growing storage needs of highly compact, multifunctional mobile devices. Exchange data with standard-size Memory Stick PRO compatible products by inserting the M2 into the adapter (not supplied). M2 is approximately one-quarter the size of Memory Stick PRO Duo media, and only about 1.2 mm thick. Because it's dual-voltage it can be used with both mobile phones (1.8 volts) and Memory Stick PRO compatible products operating at 3.3 volts.

* Memory Stick interface (serial / parallel)
* Average operating current: max 65 mA (serial transfer)
* max 100 mA (parallel transfer)

R4DS will only take microSD cards not Sony M2. As for the size R4DS can take, it really depends on the version. Most support only up to 2gb, and others supports microSDHC, which relates to sizes above 2gb.

Some people have no problems using this in the psp. Others have experienced problems.

If you don;t want to risk it, get a 4GB memory stick pro duo for same price..
See here

Or if you can stretch to £35 for a 8GB MS pro duo, here

I just bought an M2, 2gb, from play.com. It's £8.99 but a playtrade seller sold it for £6.99.

Personally, £15 for this is too expensive. I'd rather buy two at £9 each for £18, more flexibility. To each his own, but this is cold for me.
