#3
Still a v good price dromoreboy, sorry for laughing;-)
#4
Well ebuyer are offering this at £28.19 so this is a pretty good price by the looks of it.

4gb versions are just over £20 on ebay but then I guess you don't know if they're real

99% of ebay cards are fake they say..i bought one and it was fake, still works ok tho.

plus a lot of phones which these cards are often for wont work with more than 2gb!
#7
umm, very tempting. Brought a 2GB card from eBay about 6 months or so (a rough estimate) and it broke the other day :/ Was a fake as well... so no warranty.

Hmm, voted hot.

edit; why is this so cold? Cheapest price I've seen a REAL one at.

I think showing a RRP of £150 in the title winds some people up and they'll just vode it cold for that reason. It actually detracts from the deal I think as it's meaningless.
#9
How are people aloud to sell fakes on ebay? Surely it's against the law, and do they not work the same anyway?
#10
oooh very cheap this.

May have to get one if I'm going to keep with my w810i.
#11
Does anyone know the cheapest place for M2 memory?
#12
That's a great price! I normally say go for Sandisk as the quality is just as good and they're often slightly faster than the Sony cards, but this is a great price for the official one which has better resale value, too.

For £1 cheaper you can get the SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo 2GB for £16.99 from play.com
#14
God that's the most idiotic RRP i've seen in a looong time. perhaps it's circa 2003???
#15
If anything was listed against its RRP it would be a bargain, voted cold because of this. Apart from that it is a good price as it should be genuine.
#16
voted cold for a good price?
#17
Nice price for a genuine Sony, I have bought two, also gone through Quidco.
Heat given
#18
infact that statement was just completely retarded, god I hate people. if you can find it cheaper by all means vote it cold but to vote it cold on the fact that Play have a ridiculous RRP listed is....(trails off in disgust)

What kind of logic is this????
If you think the price is a good price, how can you vote cold?
Who cares what it states as RRP, it's NOT the price this bargain is making you pay!

What utter tosh!!! They are ALL fake!
If this really is a genuine Sony 2GB card then this is an incredible bargain. Gonna order one just to see - need to get more of Captain Scarlet on here for the summer hols (on my kid's PSPs).
#21
My £1.44 has tracked in quidco already, just hope they don't run out and cancel my order.

Rubbish!

I sold mine which was geniune, on ebay. I bought my 2gb card from play.com ages ago but didnt need it no more.

Although because of all the fakes, I ended up not getting alot back for my card.

But s/he DIDN'T vote it cold because play has the inflated RRP listed, s/he voted it cold becuase the title of this post would lead people to BELIEVE that the RRP was the normal 'street price', which obviously it isnt. Therefore the title is somewhat deceptive and tends to indicate a greater saving than is really there.

Having said that, considering its a Sony original, good price:thumbsup:

I remember back to when the psp just came out -- they were about £60 for 1gb and £100 for 2gb & 4 was somthing like £170 lol

Mad eh

Take my advice, dont buy the fakes off eBay, no matter how much money you save. Of the three i bought, two died, and the other got so hot that it melted into itself. Fortunately i had ejected it from my PSP seconds before, but its really not worth the risk if you ask me.

Are these the cards you need for the Sony Cybershot Cameras?
#33
Depends on your camera. Slightly older cameras use the original Memory Stick while newer ones use the smaller DUO card. My Sony cam uses the older style ones but I bought a DUO card with an adaptor. The DUOs are a better investment because they can be used in PSPs or if you ever upgrade the camera to a newer Sony model.

Check your camera's manual.
Sony has so many different types of memory sticks.
This one is "Memory Stick Pro Duo", so make sure your manual states it's the right one before purchasing.

'Memory Stick' and 'Memory Stick Pro' are different cards.

Just bought 1. Currently juggling 2 512MB between devices so this should help

Same here. Friend just bought a new sony camara and when I told him the price he dead happy..........
#40
Good price, but these are quite slow for a PSP,they work fine but the best option is either the Sandisk or the Sony Pro Duo HIGH SPEED versions.
I have had both types and there is a noticable decrease in loading times with the high speed ones.

Voted hot on the basis of price
