T4V - You cant post Amazon market place deals.

The price of that one appears to change every time I click the link.

Plus, theres a lot of fakes floating around, so it's always better to pay a couple of quid extra to buy from a reputable retailer.

Well agreed on the fakes, quite a few are turning up on Amazon marketplace, 90% are on ebay atm, theres a few sites out there on how to spot them.

Other factors to bear in mind with marketplace and other places is the postage is silly for such a small item, play on the otherhand is free!

If you have quidco this comes out even lower around £26.87

as others have said, amazon marketplace is as bad as ebay for fakes - virtually all cards are fake.

If speed is an issue (particularly read speed, eg for psp) then the sandisk cards are much quicker than sony.

Good price for a sony though, heres hoping for 8gb cards to be this price soon.. =]

Don't the Sandisk cards have trouble with some games !

Same price at Amazon as well.

I bought the 8GB version for £63.99 (£5 discount) and then some Quidco, works ace in my W850i and PSP :) Cheaper to buy two cards, but I paid for the convenience!

you can get the sandisk gaming card 4gb for this price (28.00 delivered) from expansys usng the £10 offer with paypal (comes to £38.00, check out with pay pal and get £10 discount). Mine arrived next working day

Nope, sandisk MSPD cards are about the best for PSP use, with a 15mb/sec read speed.

Sandisk MicroSD however cards are slower than other brands, which can cause problems on some Nintendo DS games.

Very strange, as sandisk invented microsd but are just licensing the rights for MSPD from sony.. :>

Play also have the Standard and Gaming editions (both are actually identical in performance, just different casing) for £31.99 delivered (the standard was £29.99 last week, seems to have gone up now). They also have the Ultra II 4gb for £34.99 (read speed is the same as the standard models but the write speed is about 2x faster).

I've been thinking of getting a 2gig or 4gig for my P990i as I sent the old phone back with the 2gig memory in by mistake (never to be seen again).

But was thinking:

Is it not better to buy an M2 with the adapter as this is more "future proof"?

I think the expansys voucher has expired. If anyone has a more recent one, then please post.

Thanks
