Just ordered myself one of these, just the kind of thing i am after, a player for my ipod, something to also charge my ipod, bluetooth is a bonus, usb input which will be great, all i need is a good flash drive now.

Went to buy this on sunday and had been reduced from £169.99 to £149.99 then to £129.99 less 10% which would have come to £116.99 so i am glad i held off. You may well need extra fittings dependant on your car, but when you add that to the basket, an extra discount comes up, so in my case, for my Mitsubishi, it came to just over 119 quid fitted. (Not that fitting is any sort of challenge, just a matter of having the right gadget for taking out the old radio, and I never got it when I got this car like I did with previous cars!)

Been thinking about something like this for a while, so am left in my usual procrastinating mode! :-(

I have the older 3500 model. Fantastic bit of kit. Ideal if you've got a Phone/MP3 player that supports AD2P and AVRCP Bluetooth (most do apart from the iphone with it's rubbish BT stack ) for Stereo Bluetooth Audio streaming.

Integrated Mic means you don't even have a trailing mic cable like most similar stereo's

Couple of user reviews here... (loads of "paid for" reviews elsewhere)

I know this is not one of the ipod friendly units, but am I right in thinking (hoping) that I can hear my ipod classic by plugging the white, overpriced Apple usb connector cable to the front of this thing?

ive got this in my car, great head unit. mainly bought it becouse of bluetooth and the inputs/outputs at the back to connect to my speakers and sub. nice price

you can plug it in with an aux cable through the headphone jack. otherwise i use a usb stick and load music onto that.

cheers - got one reserved, but may hold out for the ipod model (not too bothered about bluetooth - just want a bargain)

I can just see Halfords rushing to fit kit you haven't bought there! :whistling:

Great find... im nearly sold on getting one but how do you connect your iPhone / iPod on it?

Do you have to plug the cable in to the front on the unit or is there something more discreet round the back so I can keep the iPod in say the glove box?

Any advice would be great as im desperate to get something soon. Current stereo has packed up :-(

you have to plug it into the front.

Why Apple insisted on using such a ****** bluetooth stack on the iPhone is beyond me :x

Every other decent phone out there supports AD2P/AVRCP
