Additional comments on its functionality...

USB: The USB interface works great. Firstly, it is very fast at recognising the files and it has a quick browse function. This feature allows you to search through your folders and files in seconds. Secondly, it is compatible with both Flash Drive and HDD as it works with both my 8GB flash drive and 160GB WD Passport HDD! Thirdly, it can read up to 65,000 files (up to 128 folders containing up to 500 files each)! Fourthly, a USB dust-cap is included too. Take your flash drive/ HDD to Halfords and try it out with the model on display!

Shuffle: It shuffles either within a folder, all folders, or off.

Sony Walkman: It has extended control of a Sony Walkman MP3 player.

Just thought Id let you know that I posted a thread on "as new" ex display models of these For £20 cheaper.

Got mine today and it is indistinguishable from brand new, with one year warranty and all ancillaries brand new.

Ive been watching these for a while and theyve been up and down, £119.99 is the lowest theyve been but still not particularly hot!! Although technically it is hot as there's no better deal (apart from my deal above, which is unboxed which I appreciate some people might not want).

shame the usb port isnt at the rear, would rather use a usb extension cable through to the glove box :) , rather than an ugly stick/cabl pointing out the front waiting to be snapped off!

I'm baffled. I posted this deal in May and it got about 40 degrees hot, but now £40 cheaper, it's cold:?

Probably a mixture of "But my car came with a Stereo" and this: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/290803/sony-mex-bt3600u-bluetooth-usb-car-/, which is a little cheaper. Although, personally I like my purchases to come brand new and in the box, so I would expect a sizeable markdown for what they loosely term "ex-display".

1. Remove old head unit using appropriate tool (£1 on ebay)
2. Fit cage
3. Connect wires to new head unit.
4. Slide head unit into place.
5. Click surround and fascia into place.

Yes. And better than letting the halfords monkeys get their hands on your wiring.
