same price in Curry's Cwmbran.

It would be if a nationwide SKU price, Currys are the same store, all part of Dixons Retail Group (Evil Empire)

I like the look of this, but am wondering, it says it can stream music to a hi-fi from a windows PC, I wondering if it will do the same for MAC and itunes? Anyone any experience of this?

Plus OP, let us know how you get on with it? May be tempted, they have some in stock locally, if its not compatible with my setup it can go straight back!!

If your'e a heavy itunes user like myself, for £30 more you should seriously consider the new apple tv and before you all start I do also have a ps3 and 360 which i can stream to but it doesnt look anywhere near as good or have album artwork or remote functionality with iphone/ipod. Streaming MKV files is a doddle too :-)

I know, I know, I was thinking about appletv, just looking at viable alternatives, what with the macbook, my iphone, ipod etc adding appletv will confirm my true macophile status!!

expired due to me being a noob! It seems you can only connect through windows media player or VAIO..im really impressed though, sound quality is fantastic for such a little unit. no problems with wireless connection either, PC upstairs, Sony downstairs and sound is clear as day.

Plus when airplay gets released (next month i think) you will be able to stream direct from your iphone /ipod or that new MB Air I've got my eye on lol!

I know, new MB Air, must resist, but can't help it, pre-order, pre-order, don't, SLAP!! Thats me told!!

I am liking the sound of this Airplay lark, I already use my iPhone to control the music on my MB through some good Creative speakers, I am getting the Onkyo HTX22HDX as a wee xmas pressie to myself, with AppleTV pumping through that, should sound awesome!!

Right thats my mind made up!! Cheers for the heads up benbop, glad your impressed despite your initial reservations from what you have read online, and thanks jibbajabba3, more money pumped into apple products!! (_;)

Yes Onkyo looks v. nice, like the fact you can upgrade with extra speakers too if you need. Yeah I really should resist the new MBA, I dont even think I need one, but off to the States in a few weeks and the way the dollar is going it'd be rude not to!!
A bit more on Airplay in case you hadn't already seen anything
