This seems a good deal, but can you add speed camera sites (cause according to COMET you can't) and is it only postcode search (not street search)?

Sorry again, for some reason I couldn't add price to deal ... kept on coming up invalid.

"Dippy" over on PocketGPSWorld Forums said this:

Sorry Vikash, must have not made myself clear.

If you put POI Observer and the speed camera database on your Sony unit, then it certainly WILL play an alarm and display an icon as you approach the cameras.

What it WON'T do it display them as pois on the map in either 3d or 2d mode, nor will it allow you to navigate to them (not that you'd want to!)

But as a speed camera warning system, it works very well.

I want a new Sat-Nav as i've kind of broken my NavCam from Asda's that was £99, but I can't justify a new one until it breaks :(
I bought this from John Lewis about 4 months ago. It was £99 then plus I used a £15 discount code plus Quidco so got it for about £78. It is a very good unit & the price makes it hard to find better.
Same here got the unit last time from the John Lewis deal usual sony quality although @ a reasonable price.
can u add tomtom?
can it be updated

U can add Speed Cameras but it is a long and complicated process to install.

I've had this unit before and I don't recommend it
bump :)
