  I have the Sony Nex-C3, really nice camera, very quick. I bought it when it first came out, cost more than £400, can't remember exactly, at a Dixons airport store. It came with 2 lenses, the 18-55mm, and a flat pancake lens. In fact, I almost never use the pancake - it takes fine shots, but I prefer a bit of flexibility.
  
  I'm a long way from even being a serious amateur, but take lots of pictures of family and friends. The Nex-c3 almost never takes a bad shot.

  Hi guys - will this camera take clear enough pictures that I could blow up to a large canvas size? Would be landscape shots and maybe night time shots too.
  
  Also does this camera take pictures instantly when you press the shutter? That's the main gripe I've had with every digital camera I've ever owned, the delay in pressing the shutter and it taking a picture.

  IMO the one with the best shutter speed lag is the Nikon 1 at the moment. It has something about it in the adverts about being a click ahead I don't really get how it works but played with one in Jessops and it was much quick than my old point and shoot. But in response to your first question yes this will be able to take a picture to blow up to a large canvas

  I had the 5 and now the 5N. Magnificient cameras and can easily make poster prints if you take photos using full resolution. And with a 10 quid adapter you can attach almost any old camera lens to it!

  In response to smeeble yes this camera is very fast no lag response its an SLR in a small pack and has one of the best high iso outputs
  I believe the C3 does 10FPS in high burst
  I have the Nex 3 and it is a great camera

  I got a NEX 5 with double lense kit for about 350 quid from Jessops clearance/returns website and it was like new.
