Further to the deal I posted the other day on the jessops clearance site, they've updated their stock on it and there are quite a few Sony NEX3 and sony NEX5 cameras avaialble there today.

As at 1pm on tuesday 26th April, there are 10 NEX3s and 10 NEX5s available with the NEX5s priced at £293.11.

The NEX3s seem to be normally priced at about £330 so it is a fairly good discount if you're willing to accept a damaged box or some I think are missing the battery etc.

As per the previous post, this is limited stock so don't shoot me down if you look at this later on and there are none left - once they're gone, they're gone. Also, the link is a linkt to all the compact cameras in the clearance area so you need to go to page 2 to find the dearer items.

If it's so good, why is it in the sale? :)

excellent price, seems that this stock is only on offer due to damaged boxes as well as missing lens caps.

Not because It's been discontinued for the next iteration;

Excellent cameras and excellent prices, heat added. Just a little word of warning about Jessops clearance items: I have bought 4 cameras from them over the last few months. Three had significantly more cosmetic damage than was mentioned in the description and the last one (which I sent straight back - waiting in hope for a refund) literally looked like it had been run over by a bus - no damage mentioned in description, but screen smashed and camera was severely scratched and dented on all sides. Camera was well packaged, so was clearly sent out in this condition.

If you're lucky, you'll get a really good deal, but just beware of what you might get....
#15
It tells you why each camera is in the sale , ie scratches on screen/unit .....
#16
because its been around for months now and they are probably bringing something else new out (as with all types of technology these days)

You wouldnt be here if you really thought reduced stuff is **** stuff

I got a 70-300 VR Nikon lense from Jessops Clearance for £234 quid, looked pristine to me!

Grabbed a silver one without a charger.

Would eBay be the best bet for one of these?
#19
Or amazon market.

Anyone got a dispatch?

Well excited!

Very hot if you don't get a completely scuffed up one, I've had a mint one and a trash one from Jessops, woulda jumped right on any 16mm kits going - i've got the 18-55 and £200 quid is near on the cost of the lens alone, oh well I just got a Canon FD adapter so will have fun with that world of lenses.

This one's for keeps. I bought an HX5 in a previous clearance for £104 that was for the missus but she did'nt touch it, too attached to her Nokia. At least I'll get some control back with this camera, should start playing with it tomorrow. :D

I can't get across how good the nex5 is ,the pics blow me away and the hd video is crystal clear the best I have ever seen

Just had my camera delivered and charging the battery.

The camera was a little dusty but once cleaned up looks like new with a very tiny nick on one of the corners otherwise it looks spotless. The lens cap is missing from the main lens and that is the only item that does look 'used' but is still in great condition. The smallest lens is spotless and there is no instruction manual but all the other accessories are there including the flash.

Quidco has tracked at £10.04 also so I'm sitting with a big grin on my face right now, thanks again edinburgh76 for posting this deal.

The 16mm lens sells for £130 on it's own ,your a scrawpy sod ;) record a video take the card out put it straight in your panny tv that's if you have one and wait for your jaw to drop :)

TV... haven't had one for the last 5 weeks but I won't go into that. Panny is on the agenda though.

I've got my Dell U2711 on standby for the first images and video. Just sitting looking though the CD at the handbook. :D

Great delivery time!

Already got a D90 before all the prices went up, should have bought the 70-300vr then aswell. I'll have to keep an eye out on the jessops clearance site, hopefully they'll have some more.

got my NEX 3 today

few light scratches, menu button doesn't work but good lens and takes pics well

still happy at purchase seeing as I got it for £200 or so
#36
Arrived!

Very happy with the condition. Few marks, mainly around the screw in part, but completely working and a steal!

Now to grab a charger as I only have 13% of battery to play with!

:)

Thanks OP!
