Not bad, i really liked that one that was on gadget show last week though.

This uses the SonicStage software for file transfer - which has had reliability/compatability problems in the past - not sure if Sony have sorted it out with version 4.3. I'd think I'd prefer one of the drag and drop ones if I was going for a Sony. Good price though!

Yes good price.. iv brought 2 of the sony 2gb, white ones from play, £18 each... but i like the , Drag + Drop type....... Also got the 8gb. philips from argos this week for £50... easy to use... check um out..

Is there any other software that you can use with this other than sonic stage? Does that convert files into atrac format? Or can anyone recommend a similar type player for a similar price?

Many thanks
Christian

When are people going to realise that the correct word is BOUGHT and not BROUGHT?
You bought 2 of these, not I brought 2 of these. You BOUGHT them and then BROUGHT them home in the car / bus / plane / spaceship
i see that word all over Ebay.
The use of the English language on this website is shocking.
Is there no deal on here on how to correctly use the English language?

Just bought one of these:
£24.99
£23.74 after experience08 voucher
£22.55 after 4% quidco and 1% egg money

It's I not i. Also you didn't end the previous sentence with a full stop.

Damn, if only I waited one month. I would have got it cheaper still. Anyway for anyone who buys this and hates sonic stage you can download Void mp3 file manager which makes a pretty good replacement, and is miles faster at transferring data.
#21
Help! When you turn it off, does it go to the start of the track again or pick up where it stopped? I listen to a lot of audio books and radio downloads so it's useless if it sends me back to the start of an hour long MP3.

Its where ever you stop It seems to be the case for the podcasts I listen to at least.
#23
Thanks, I've ordered one! At £23.74, it's not too much of a gamble.

Excuse me for a typo error.

You missed my point and that was the terrible spelling on forums.

Bargain is another word spelt incorrectly. I have noticed that people have started spelling how they speak. Bargin instead of bargain.

The age of text speak is taking over. RIP English language.

does anyone know what sort of headphone's comes with this MP3 Player.

Ordered. I have a 2Gb NW-E005 Sony but this (apart from twice the capacity) hopefully will have a clearer display and (according to the blurb) still has the long (30-hour) battery life and quick charging features of the NW-005.

I have no problems with SonicStage (4.3.01.14050). I pick the hard drive MP3 folders I want on the Player, import into SonicStage and on into the Sony. Slower than drag&drop but I don't change things every verse end.

i just brought this for £39.99 it hasn't come yet. do u think if i rang them up and said " hey i brought this could you refund me the difference , if not i will return it under the distance of selling act and then it by it again , so you will be saving on postage just to refund me the difference now " .. u think this would get me the £15 back ?
#32
The point of my posting was to highlight that I thought in essence this was a good deal. I was not demonstrating the use of my grammatical english so you could have you have your little petty fun "grumblesheeve". Try to remember that not everyone is blessed with perfect grammar some people have genuine needs that might make posting harder ie dyslexia & comments like that are NOT encouraging!!!! So, go find a NEW HOBBY!!!!

does anyone know what sort of headphone's comes with this MP3 Player.

Mine arrived today, I'm highly delighted with the sound quality and with the display improvement over my older Sony.

The earphones are a basic just-in-ear, fall out easy, ear-bud type, actually I prefer their sound over some £18 (now £15) Sony MDR-EX71SL I got from Play, but they're nothing special. For budget listening while not jogging, Sennheiser PX-100 rule.

Here's a joke. Play are advertising my old 2Gb Sony at £99.99. I paid £18. In the words of McEnroe, "You cannot be serious!"
