I have previously had the 8GB version, and now currently have the 16GB version of the Sony NWZ-A800 series. Bluetooth works great, is easy to set-up and use, and sound quality via Bluetooth is very good. Sound quality with wired headphones is outstanding.

Anyway, I'll impart some advice.

Let me tell you, sound quality, build quality, ease of use, the screen, user interface... ALL are better than an iPod. The only thing the iPod does better is navigation with it's scroll wheel (yes I've had one of those too). Everything else about the Walkman makes it a better buy than an iPod.

BUT.... take my advice. And this is from someone who's started back in the day with an MP3 player with 128Mb, then moved on to 256Mb, then 1GB, then 2GB, then 4GB, then 8GB, and then 16GB.

4GB IS NOT ENOUGH!

You will run out of space very quickly. If you just want to store music, then maybe it'll do, but you WILL soon run out of space. And forget about putting any movies on it with just 4GB. When you do run out of space, you'll soon get tired of deleting stuff to load your new tracks. You'll end up not bothering to do it.

My advice is to beg and borrow just an extra £40 more and get the 16GB version from play.com. I have over 800 music tracks at high quality 320kb bit-rate, and also 4 full length 2-hour movies on mine, and have still got 5GB space left.

gd point, 4gb isnt enough if u want video and pictures and all that rubbish but i find it annoying when people have 32gb full of crappy songs and 76 episodes of family guy for no reason other than to fill it up and show off...its the i-pod mentallity

I bought this for £49 in my local sainsburys store last week, so not particularly hot from my point of view, but I won't vote cold as this is widely available. Very good mp3 player, great audio quality, 4gb is more space than i will ever need, cant see myself getting bored with a thousand songs to cycle through! Highly recomended.
