Noticed this in currys earlier when looking for the mozaic deal.
This is the 8gb version which is £89.99 on amazon.
It includes the bluetooth headphones like the other A82* series players.
Looks a really good deal suprisingly!
Also 89.99 at play.com
Did have a reduced to clear note next to price.
Should be in most Currys, as the ones I have visited all have a little Sony stand promoting these players with the stands so you can try them out too. Look really great.
Enjoy!

Looks good deal for people who don't need that much memory space. (A829 16GB version)

I haveSony NWZ A815 and it is a good product on its own. However, it is a shame that there is no docking options for Sony products (ok teher might be one or two done by soni at supersonic prices). Sony has hi-fi which supports Ipods but they do not do much for their products and also they do not reveal their connection and messaging secrects so that we can get third party stuff. Cutting long story short Sony might sound good but bad marketing and third party support for their mp3 player.. I hope they change one day....

Just got one from White City, Manchester, there is none in Manchester area left, only some single 4GB.

First impression - looks very good, very well build, nice, sharp screen, impressive sound quality on some old $2 headphones.

So for that price is highly recommended :)

glad you like it :)
I really do want the 16gb version, but it just seems nowhere has it in stock now!
So I might have to get this 8gb version. I m a bit disapointed there is no expansion slot ! Else I would have got it already.!
I'll give the 16gb a few more days to hope somewhere reliable starts selling (places like tribalUK, and bennetts, and 24electric) seem to have bad reviews and lots of people saying holes in boxes or no delivery, so I hope somewhere trusted (pleaase play.com dooo it !) can sell it for £100 again, else I have no option but to get this one the 8gb for £70 . I am not paying £50 more for the 16gb on ebay!

I cant find any of the 16gb version of this instore at currys or anywhere, they seem to stop at 8gb. theres 16gb with FM but no bluetooth headset for liek £150.
Online best i can see from somewhat reputable (100% feedback) is ebay £120 which Is a fair bit extra not sure if i want to pay that much more !

Hi, if you are looking for the 16gb version and aren't fussed about the bluetooth side of things then you can pick up a NWZ-A729 16gb from argos clearance bargains on ebay for around £70 buy it now. This is the same player minus the bluetooth and bluetooth headphones.

I have this player and would strongly reccomend for ease of use, great sound quality and good battery life.

Th only minor issue i've had is that it doesnt have bundled software for converting video to work with it but there are many forum posts with people giving advice if you do a quick search on google (needs to be mp4, 320x240, AAC sound <192kbps, to work with player).

Would definitely reccomend.

i was wondering if i should get this or a sony ericsson walkman phone?
what good sony walkman phones are there?

Good deal... I got the 826 (4gb version) for about £40 couple weeks back and its one of the best mp3 players i've used.. To be honest the bluetooth headphones arent the best quality, but now I just use em on my pc to listen to stuff when my girlfriends asleep.

I have one of these and one of Sony's speaker/docks Sony-CPF-NW001;

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3276402/Sony-CPF-NW001-Cradle-Audio-Speaker-For-NW-S703-S705-And-S706-MP3-Players/Product.html

The later generation sony MP3s have all docked/been compatible - even though Sony don't advertise this. It's really, really good - nice solid metal build and excellent sound quality even when relatively loud. I've tried some of the cheaper ones for ipods and they were pants in comparison. so you pay for what you get. Think mine was from Amazon but they're been out of stock.

The Sony MP3 is also excellent, yep it's not and nice and shiny as an ipod, but the battery life and sound quality (and the phones) are better.
