Same price at Woolworths too, which seems like Very had bought over with the layout being identical.

I still prefer to get it from Amazon :P

I'd open it carefully so you have the option of returning it. It is a very odd fit on the ears - either it suits you perfectly or its completely useless (and I mean completely).
#7
Be aware that headphones are only returnable if they are faulty for hygiene reasons.
#8
Got some on the last deal and would recommend!
#9
thanks for the share. ordered.

I got them from here for more money,

They are very difficult , probably impossible, to make use of if youre a real swimmer

so beware

That may be in the retailer's terms and conditions but these do not affect your statutory rights and the distance selling regulations is not concerned with this.

It featured on one of Martin Lewis' shows but I can't find the info online.

I bought a set a couple of weeks and and they have very poor volume when using the waterproof earbuds. They're great with the normal ones, but if you use these for swimming (i.e. their intended purpose) I would suggest you look elsewhere.
#13
I bought it last time it was on offer. great piece of kit. the ear buds were not good for my ears. so bought some with flanges from eBay for 99p.
#14
Are they good for running?
#15
These are terrific. I use them for swimming a lot but they're great for use as a cable free MP3 player as well.
#16
I bought the black one and had to return it as there was no playback and my mac had trouble saying hello to it. I have the replacement on my desk now so fingers crossed.

As easy as using a memory stick on my pc but can imagine it being trickier on a Mac.

You should have returned the indecent Mac.

Are they good for running?

I got a pair for running and the first couple of wears was slightly unconformable, but got use to them. Overall very good sound and decent bass.

Agreed.

Bought them and persevered with them for a whole week, but they are just terrible for swimming so sent them back.

Well the sound appears to be extremely low and fairly muffled as the ear buds have silicone over the ends to stop water getting in. I couldn't get the volume up to a decent level for some reason, the maximum volume is way too low. Even with my goggles holding the wire/strap part at the back in place they continued to come out when I was swimming no matter how well I tried to place them correctly.

So for swimming the sound is terrible and very low and because of their size they regularly come out when you're swimming.

Good deal, white appears to have gone up to £49.99 but blue is still £29.99.

love mine now i've got the correct buds fitted. i can swim for 45 mins (my limit) without a problem. before i got the correct buds they would be a pain in the ar$e and go quiet or silent which rendered them useless for the duration of the swim.

use mine in the sauna afterwards too.

podcast synch is awesome feature and love it to bits. if i needed a second set i would have purchased again

Can anyone recommend a case for these?

Thanks.

Probably have bought this if it had bluetooth enabled too

Been waiting for this deal to come around again! Thanks :)

I posted a deal last year from argos for these. They actually ended up failing after 6 months (most likely from being in a sauna several times a week) however i'd lost the receipt. So I was waiting and waiting for a reduced price online but after several months of nothing, I ended up paying £49.99 from maplin a few weeks ago, which was the best price on the high street (for easy to return in case of another failure).

Despite the issue with the first set (after at least 50 swims and sauna sessions), I absolutely loved them. They are light, stay in my ears and have excellent, loud audio with good bass - as long as you fit them correctly!. Most criticisms I have seen online are clearly an issue of poor 'fit' as if you test out the different earbuds and get the fit right, they sound great both in and out of the water. I would say, if you have used ear-buds of a similar shape before, you will get on great with these. For use in the water, the best tip i can give is to put them in while you're dry and you will get a solid seal. As soon as your inner ears and ear buds are wet, it's very difficult to get a proper seal.

Do you swim breast stroke ?
#34
Found these impressive once I had tried a number of different ear buds. Spend the time getting the right fit and they will be better in the pool.
#35
We all have roughly same shaped ears

Which ear bud were you successful with

And again , breast stroke ?
#36
Ordered - thanks

Bought these from Very a few months back. As others have said if the ear buds don't fit snugly they are useless. Audio for swimming is dire, very muffled, too low, and they fall out. Loathe the headband and didn't find them any good for the gym either as running on a treadmill caused them to move about in my ears and the sound jumped all over the place. They are fine for cycling, rowing etc but my reason for purchase was running (because i get tangled in wires) and swimming (because my pool plays crap music) the person that mentioned buying different earbuds elsewhere could you link?
#38
I'm on my 5th pair, they brake like anything so keep your receipt. As others have said they are fairly terrible in the water, but I persevere as there better than nothing! A bargain at £29
#39
I bought a pair of these from costco and returned them a couple of days later, they are perfect to use in the gym and fit quite snug with no cables hassling you, but as soon as you start swimming the novelty wears off. When you push off in the pool they fall off your head, swimming underwater is an issue as they fall off and as soon as they fall out your ears and waters gets inside you lose 50% volume the sound becomes muffled. If you want a pair of wireless ear phones then by all means buy them as they are quite handy but if you want them for swimming don't bother.

I sincerely recommend replacing the tips with Comply foam tips. I couldnt get one lap in before loosing the sound in mine before these tips. now i get aobut 10 laps in one ear and up to 30 in the other hahaha.

And yes they fall out if you push off too hard which kind of beats the idea of doing the exercise, going slower...

They're alright though I guess.
