The Sony Walkman NWZX-1060B has it all: Gorgeous looks, meaty power and stunning sound. Movies and photos look fantastic on the 3-inch OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) touchscreen, and you can store up to 120 hours of video or 8,000 tracks. You can even surf the web thanks to built-in Wi-Fi on-board connectivity lets you stream YouTube clips and podcasts.
The NWZX-1060B is packed with innovative digital audio technologies for the best possible sound. Digital Noise Cancelling will block out external ambient noise and you can use manual modes for a bus, plane, train or office to match your environment. The S-Master Digital Amplifier ensures crystal clear sound with no distortion or analogue signal errors while Clear Audio technologies reproduce sound thats as true to the original source as it can be.
The 3-inch full colour OLED touchscreen displays razor-sharp, ultra-bright video playback in incredible detail and clarity. The OLED technology allows for super-quick response times, so youll enjoy breathtaking results on screen, even with fast-moving action scenes.
Transferring tracks is a breeze you can easily drag and drop content directly from Windows Media® Player or non-protected tracks from iTunes® via USB, just like you would with your flash drive key ring or similar memory storage device.
The NWZX-1060B has serious stamina with continuous playback for 33 hours of music and 9 hours of video. The included 13.5mm EX earbud headphones provide balanced rich sound quality, with unique closed and air-tight fit giving you deeper bass.
My friend has one of these - and id been after one for a while - cracking sound (in my opinion far superior to the ipod - yes im leaving myself to be bashed by ipod lovers)...its the noise cancelling headphones which do it for me and whatever the sound-processing the Walkman does - really works! great for my train commute (will probably get me run over crossing the road!)
Here's a link - it didnt outscore the Touch though lol!http://www.t3.com/reviews/ipod-and-mp3-players/all-mp3-players/sony-x-series-walkman-vs-ipod-touch-vs-cowon-s9
Review from T3:
Crystal clear audio with plenty of balls and bass
Superb noise cancelling
Lush OLED screen
No Mac support
Sometimes unresponsive touchscreen and no multi-touch Rather pricey
Superb audio and an OLED screen ensure that X does indeed hit the spot for Sony
