this has been around for ages.

still hot because their awesome!!

you get more leverage on the triggers so their not as hard and your fingers stay in one place instead of sliding around the trigger.

thier also easy to clip on and off.

Ive never once had a problem with the L2 and R2 buttons - whats the fuss about?

...on a SIXAXIS(tm) Wireless Controller the RealTriggers hit the floor first if you are careless when holding the controller :)

...on a DUALSHOCK(r)3, however, the vibration motor is still side heavy & the front of the controller always seems to hit the floor first :(

PC World branches sometimes have these in-store for £1.99. HMV too. Play.com has been known to reduce them to £1.99 on odd occasions as well.

But mostly they are £2.99, or higher.

They always fire off at remarkable velocity if you just happen to hit one when it is hanging off the [L2] or [R2] button.

...it is great fun trying to find where the trigger has gone whilst continuing to play online against another player (not).

It just means you don't have to rest your fingers on the second shoulder buttons... you can just find the buttons more easily in a hurry (if needed).

Was the first thing i bought when i got a ps3.

Without these clip ons the standard triggers are possibly the worst ive ever used. 360 controller is 10x better imo though.

Still, buy them if you dont already have them, make games like CoD feel so much more natural.

I have a 360 and personally prefer the l2/r2 on the ps3 pad to the respective buttons on the 360s - seems I must be the only one!

these are great if you use a 360 and a PS3 as they make the pads feel more like each other, the triggers are very good on racing games. essential imho

For the sake of £2 I'll give them ago to see if they make much difference.

thanks, heat added.

I have a pair of these, and love them, but wouldn't pay 2 pounds for them. I thought they were rubber, but are only cheap plastic. There's only so much I'd pay for something that looks like it came from a cracker.

Totally agree with striker - these are essential for the PS3 pads to turn them into proper triggers and stop your fingers slipping down too much on L2 and R2.
Also agree the layout and feel of the 360 pad beats the PS3 hands down...I have both consoles and find it hard to switch between the 2 styles of pad...

They really make a difference I've got a pair on both pads, and when I go around to my mates house, where he doesn't have these it just doesn't feel right, I didn't like the 360 pad, so for £2 these are well worth it, I got mine on a magazine cover a year or two ago now!

Essential for driving games imo

These are great but still a bit expensive for what they are. I've 2 pairs and 2 triggers have bits snapped off. Still usable though, just.

How much did YOU pay for them then ?!

I use these when playing Motorstorm and they are very useful.
This is the best price at the moment they aren't worth £2 with respect to the cost of production but if it means that you will beat that little pip-squeak online then ...

I totally agree
I actually don't think it's possible for your finger to slip off

I think it's an Xbot thing.

completely agree i got these and were a complete waste of money havent used them, they are less comfy, less grippy and hold less heat so they feel different to the other triggers IMO

That's what i also thought until i played mw2 the other day and tried to change the game pad set up configuration the same as my 360s... ie using the triggers as the triggers.

With the 360 configuration it didn't feel right...the original ps3 trigger buttons curve downwards instead of up at the bottom and have no grip.

I have these on all my controllers, enhances my pad handling as I have small hands.

I find that if I accidently drop my controller, these triggers fall off...
