In my opinion its a very decent deal and there are no other good console deals out there now ... GT5 would fetch around a tenner at CeX or Replay.. making this combo a good deal.. if you have any better console deals.. please feel free to point out...

checked at local HMV GT5 unopened fetching a min of 12 quid.. making this deal better... and mass effect 3 unopened fetching 38-40 quid...

your deal is better due to choice and not having to deal with play.
not sure how warranty would be if hmv folded - play would tell you to get stuffed after 28days anyway so probably better.
just came at wrong time as noone is looking at 4 day old deals to vote hot.
as i never bothered voting ill vote yours hot though :)

I'm not saying yours isnt a good deal, it's just that there were better deals at the time.

I understand HMV still have that deal instore in Brighton.. but a few quid back using TCB or Quidco makes this deal a bit better...in my opinion..

Anyone go for this deal?

I pre-ordered a couple of weeks ago and since "release" on 9/3 it's marked awaiting stock. At least one other site offers the same contents but for £359 iirc.

About the right price I'd say, nothing special.

Mass effect 3?

Whoops didn't realise it is multi platform...

must be better deals out there, easter sales round the corner.
#13
That's what I'm gonna hold out for
#14
I don't think this is particularly good tbh.
#15
Sounds expensive, the game/station prices were unrealistic although excellent, think this is worth under £200 now.

ah right so you think standard price for 320gb ps3 with 60+quids worth games is 200...k..
not saying its the best deal (amazons current is better) but stupid comparisons to basically nonexistent deals dont help anyone.

fairly good deal at the moment :)

It's not a bad deal, i ordered one but received an email from play telling me i had to call up their customer services to complete the order. It's down to the amount of money being spent as far as i know, they say it's additional security checks so i can think what else it is. I'm not overly bothered about it anyway so i just cancelled.

Good price or not, Play are the worst retailer I have had dealings with! People just be aware of who you are dealing with before passing over your hard-earned cash.

not really - after 28days they wash their hands of you as not uk based.
customer service is still shocking within that period
number of cancelled orders
wrong orders
damaged/open orders
crap retailer

Correct! I've had my hands burnt by them twice! The first item i bought from them was an iphone charger - that developed a fault shortly afterwards (of course not Play's fault) however Play didn't want to know. I requested numerous RMAs however never heard anything. It was only a few quid so didn't lose any sleep over it. The second item I purchased was an iphone dock - it was faulty - that's not their fault but again they didn't want to know when i wanted to return it. Again RMAs all failed. So never did business with them again.
My friend has also had similar experiences.

If you've ever tried to get in touch with Play then you'll know how difficult it is. It is like pot luck whether you're successful or not.

So johneem, before you go rubbishing peoples comments, know that some of us actually speak from our own experiences you idiot!

^ Yes, I have to agree, their hardware support, should a problem develop after 28 days, leaves A LOT to be desired.
I no longer buy any hardware from them that costs more than £10
