Ditto, but 8gb still doesn't hold many games, guess I've been spoilt by the DS R4 card which hold 60 games per Gb?!?!?:whistling:

I was just about to post this myself. Definately worth it, if you're on the lookout for one. I'm not sure how many games this will hold - anyone care to speculate? This is priced at over £27 on Amazon, and the 16GB version on Play is £50! Definately the one to get.

Great price for the 8gb, but I'm ideally after a 16gb one. Any one know where the cheapest is for those at the moment please?

They all seem to be around the £45-50 mark unfortunately.

Anyone else care to help on my previous question? How many "typical" games would be able to store on the 8GB. I have no idea how big these games are on average.

Really depends on the game. There are some games which came up a few hundred meg whilst other games can take up a gig.

As others have said, really depends on the game. For instance Little Big Planet is nearly 1500mb, while others are under 1gb. I'd say mostly anywhere between 500mb to 1.5gb.

Obviously we're talking full PSP games here, if you get the Minis off the PSN store, then they're a lot smaller.

Great price for Genuine 8GB. If you want to purchase 16GB for less than £40, then you'd have to look for lexar I'm afraid, which is slightly slower but works well.

Overpriced by what? Mymemory has the current cheapest price on the 4gb at 12.95 with a discount code.

Play has Sandisk 2gb and 4gb cards for £8.49 and £10.99 respectively, which are faster as well as cheaper.

Good price on the 8gb though.

Can the 16gb stick be used in the PSP 2000?

I just got a 16GB lexar and I can't say I've noticed it being much slower. It's mark 2 certified so its a decent speed at least.

If you want a 16gb card on the cheap check out this thread and the micro sd to pro duo adaptors mentioned in it.

Can probably get a 16gb pro duo for under £25 by buying an adaptor and 2 8gb micro sd

You don't need an adaptor for PSP.
