Kindle is out soon. Price war on the horizon.

They're still a bit pricey, needs to come down to 100-120 range. Had a look at the new pocket ones today in my local Sony Centre, nice, but difficult to justify at £180.
I still prefer actual books. Looked at this in a store today and didnt think much of it.

Don't count on it. Kindle is a great device but expensive and relatively limited to kindle format books (or pdf). If your local library service lends ebooks, guaranteed they WONT be compatible with kindle.

Until other manufacturers come on the scene, and google start to sell retail ebooks via retail outlets, the price war is a dim and distant spec on the horizon. Kindle will do nothing to change this.
