Popped into Costco today and found a PS3 80gb on the shelves for £160.96 or £139.97 ex vat!! Ok so you dont get the bundled games and blu rays in the other package deals but at this price I picked one up to tuck away should my existing 80 gigger pack up. The dualshock 3 is worth £25+ on its own and with the money saved you could grab whatever bargain games or blurays you fancy (via hukd of course) . And yes, not everyone's a Costco member but surely that wouldnt stop you having a go at this price, it's not what you know but who you know etc.. Theres even more to be saved because if you have an existing executive club card you get 2% cashback so £3.21 bringing it down to £157.75!!! Sure it aint slim but it's arguably prettier, personally I prefer just about everything that way!
As they all say "go easy on me, this is my first post".
The link directs you to costco location finder not the deal of course because as I'm sure you all know its instore only with costco. And before the sledging starts - no, I dont work for them either.

Howzat?? I shouldve pointed out that it was in the Milton Keynes store (no panasonic breadmakers I'm afraid). Hunted for but can't find the receipt - if you shop at costco I'm sure you'll recognise the pic.

Personally i have the original 60gb (albeit with a 320Gb Hard drive in it now) and prefer these older ones to the new slim ones.
Great find.. HOT from me.

mega hot deal
:? The Blurays I tried looked fine using a pad.
;-)
This is very cheap, was almost tempted to buy a used one for this price the other day! Shame i've never seen a CostCo in my life however.

Do game really offer £190 trade? Robbing gets offered me £110 cash / £140 trade at the start of the year :x Needless to say I didn't take them up on their kind offer. If they are buying at £190 what are they selling for??
First time I've added heat to a "phat" PS3 deal - this one really is a scorcher

no u misread it,they play fine, its just the controls are crappy,so much better with the bluray remote,a pad wouldnt affect the picture:thumbsup:

No Game sell you the Slim for half price so you get £125 for the 80GB PS3 Phat. See here
I swapped mine for a slim and I got to say it looks pants. It looks so cheap and tacky, not like the shiny phat......but alas I had to swap as the phat was breaking my back when I lugged it from place to place. Even the power lead on the PS3 slim is thin as hell, not like that thick chunky one you get on the phat.
