No it never did?

:?

However there is a rumble on the horizon!

But for anybody who has a PS3 and needs an extra controller this is a damn good price!

Hot!

I see snow on the horizon :-D
yeah , as above , never had rumble
#4
I think this was posted a week or two ago.

Still a good deal though.
#5
Yes - this has been at this price for some time now - 3 months +

Good deal however if you are prepared to wait 10 days or so..
Just for reference, Movietyme.com is an American company which actually posts to UK address, which is then forwarded to the buyer. Hence there is no customs charge.
I have used them many times before without any trouble..Except for the delivery time..

waiting for a rumble
#7
I don't see the big deal about the rumble, it'll just mean you'll have to charge the controller twice as much.
#8
Good price - if you are happy without rumble.
But, perhaps it is low in anticipation of the DS3's causing the non-rumbles to become redundant?

Bought my DS3 off a trader in China. It's great to be able to 'feel' games once again.

I bet there is a way to turn of the rumble on the Dual Shock 3.

And I think the SIXAXIS are now going down so that they can release the Dual Shock 3 for the price of SIXAXIS when they was first released.

actually no, the new ds3 has a 300mA internal battery (compared to the original sisaxis 30mA battery) to accommodate the rumble, so it does last longer i know cause i do have a white DS3 pad (white > the black lol) and yes the rumble makes all the difference,

Yes Asia are doing the dual shock 3 for £36 inc delivery the average wait is 1 week, so its worth buying it now rather than waiting for the official UK launch (when ever that is)

there is, just press the PS button ---------> rumber ----> off

I bought my dualshock from YesAsia and it's great. The EU rls is scheduled for March so wait if you want but for me £36 it's well worth it, rumble is just one more immersive feature that was previously missing from the Ps3.

Most games are simple to update and work well with the DS3 - even GT5 Prologue ;)
#13
hey, erm. last time i checked, yesasia doesnt ship to the UK with items relating to playstation everything, however just before a ban from Sony came into play, i happened to get a JAP PSP from there in May 2005.

but yeah, do they ship the Dualshock 3 to the UK?
#14
You might be thinking of Play-Asia - when I tried there they refused to send it to the UK.

Myself and several friends have all had their DS3s from YesAsia in about 7 days :)

not if you turn it off between play, lol... i don't have to charge mine much and the DS3 comes with a better battery apparently. Black is best, sorry!
#16
What ps3 games support rumble then? i might buy one, but would many ps3 games at the moment support it as there is no need to add this in games as it is not released yet? :p
#17
Thing is it is already released, in Japan, and it seems a large amount of Pal games are already supported through update:

All mine updated fine :D

Thanks for the code, sealed the deal for me to get a dualshock 3 from Yesaisa! I recently changed from a 360 to the PS3 (basically because I got a PS3 to work as a BluRay player and then the xbox broke and is out of warranty) and the lack of rumble is the major thing I missed!

Would prefer to pay the extra £10 for the dualshock, in order to get the 100x improvement that the rumble will give to gaming

EDIT: Note tho that the code only gets the controller down to £32? At least thats what I got

EDIT 2: Oh, wait thats because the white one is a bit cheaper than the black one and ive bought the black controller! Oh well, I think the black one looks better

Hmm, is everyone getting this message? I've only got the DS3 joypad in my cart :?

EDIT: Silly ******.. I'm looking at Playasia...

Well I got a rumble pad from yesasia for around £30 delivered....it feels so much nicer weight wise too. and some games really need rumble for full effect.
#24
consider me converted folks.
I didn't realise yesasia were selling ps3 stuff to the uk! Will they deliver games?
#25
yes f1ce is supported...without rumble it sucks. :o

I play this almost exclusively on my Ps3 (major reason I bought one so I could have F1 again for the next few years) and the rumble makes it the game it should have been, it's so much nicer to take a corner on the limit and feel the rumble strips or to have the feedback in your hands when you're starting to lose grip.:gift::gift::gift:

F1:Champ Edition is my favourite game as well! The Career mode is quite taxing on Medium (not even attempted on hard!) where you really do notice the difference when your crusing round in a super aguri compared to the Ferrari's! Keeps dragging me back when im playing Assasins Creed + COD4..

Looking forward to trying the rumble out when the DualShock arrives!

Looks like it, free worldwide shipping! But they do say that they arent eligable for VAT free shipping to the UK, not sure what that means...

Nice one! White one ordered. Total via Paypal - £5 voucher = £31.27

My white Dual Shock 3 just came through the post today, after quidco it worked out about £29.60 from yesasia.

It was posted on xmas eve, so all in all that is pretty quick considering all the holidays and the delays by royal mail.

Also there is no chanch you will get charged import tax, mine came from croydon, I think yesasia ship items from HK to their uk sgents and then it gets posted from there.

Im thinking of ordering UT3 now, it wont get released here until end of march/early april, and even then it wont be as cheap as yesasia.

now up to £24.99
