Seems to be the cheapest price around for this official Sony charging unit.

Not to be confused with "officially licensed" docking stations.

Is this not the rrp?

Don't know why you wouldn't just use the usb lead and put the money to a game, unnecessary imo.

You'd have to leave your PS4 on to charge it doing this, whereas this can just be used to charge the controllers in isolation.

No idea if this is the RRP, but I suspect not as other sites are selling it for more.

This was the cheapest I could find it anywhere.

I paid this price when it was released last year, i dont see the deal here.

Not really needed, you can use the normal usb charge cable to charge your controllers, you don't need to leave your PS4 on either, you can leave it in rest (standby) mode and this supplies power to the usb sockets so you can charge the pad.

You can also charge the pad via other methods, i personally charge my controllers (PS3 & PS4) via my laptop.
