Glad Amazon decided to match Tesco's again. Though Amazon seem to monitor the Tesco price very closely as the second Tesco momentarily went OOS before at £332 it shot back up to £350 on Amazon, so if you want it get it. Does make it better value than the recently released bundles too.

That said I would at this stage just hang on and see what black friday brings unless you absolutely must have it for release.

Can always try flubit for a bit more off too though in my experience on high value items like this they won't offer more than a couple percent....

not a bad price.

To be honest, I don't think we'll have much better deals in this year's Black Friday deals thanks to the free falling sterling. The price is already very comparable if you use the current USDGBP rate and take 20% VAT into account. Having seen price hikes in many other high-profile gadgets (iPhone, HTC Vive and Oculus to name a few) I just hope Sony and Microsoft won't follow suit

PS: Flubit offered another 3% off, about £323

still didn't beat the price I paid for the pro, staff discount is awesome when it's double discount :D

Have it pre-ordered with Amazon thinking about cancelling can see deals around this price with 3 games on run up to Xmas.

Not sure why this is going cold. Thanks OP

Heat, thanks for the heads up. I checked only yesterday and it was back at 350. I'm holding out for black Friday I reckon though. There's nothing I particularly want to play that would be bundled but I can sell and make the console cheaper obviously.

I asked them to match Tesco on Monday & they said no!

Great Deal but cant decide, Its £18 discount but i kinda want to wait till FFXV is out to see if there is any bundlebut it may go back up in price. and then there is black friday that may or may not happen. heck it may even sold out by then

If i keep the PS4 unopen and return it to amazon, how much would the delivery charge be?

Only if its within 14day and its not your fault such as defective item. If you bought it but decide you dont want it then you have to pay for delivery

Oh, that's a pickle then. Contact them via live chat and try to work it out.

Really stupid move them putting it back up considering the Dishonoured 2 bundle is still only £352! Who exactly would choose the console only for the sake of £2? Even if you hated the game you would buy the bundle and sell the game to get £30-£40 back.

Amazon's pricing defies all logic at times like this....

Looks like whilst Tesco's have stock Amazon sell it for £332, as soon as Tesco's show Out of stock it goes straight back to £350!!

really angry that i missed this, each time I've tried to checkout after seeing the offer its ended up reverting to the original price. I wanted to reach out to amazon and ask nicely if they could just keep it a price thats reasonable, as i say now that reasonable price of £350 is not in my mind worth it after missing out on this deal in other places too (tesco etc).

So i refuse to pay £332 that it was listed for. Also i hesitated at this price initially because one user stated that there was no stock till after christmas, which is in fact, a fallacy.

additional:

this same console is £345 at gameseek. So amazon price matching is clearly not that thorough

Why would they sell it for 330 if no one else no longer is?

You did not miss anything. They clearly dont seem keen on delivering.
