Don't use the Amazon currency converter, pay in Euro.

Unless you can use a fee free credit/debit card it wont make much difference. Most credit cards charge a 3% fee on top of the exchange rate which works out similar to Amazons own rate anyway but if you have a card that charges a lot lower or fee free then you are better off paying in €

Have a look at the delivery date and tracking info, that will give an indication as to where its coming from.

Amazon is bizarre. I live in France and quite often items I buy from Amazon.fr are UK imports yet the prices are rediculously cheaper than Amazon.Uk from which they come from.
