This deal has been on dixons front page for ages, good price but i wouldnt get this as its fat and can not be used with TV.
#2
its a good price if you are after Pink PSP

Sorry I dont understand what the H livelong is talking about ?

Surely the PSP kicks the DS butt for gameplay.

My family have both and Dad (Me) goes for PSP on quality of games

Any little girl who wants a pink ds for £100 to £110 would be getting a poor deal unless she happened to be under 10 years old

fat ?

Why would you want this on tv when you probably have or could buy a Wii, PS3, X box etc.

Gaming on the move this is a great deal for the ladies

Guess this's what it is...

Goldstink, that's your opinion, but sales figures do the talking, and the DS is quite obviously played and enjoyed by a lot more people than the PSP. all depends what you're after in a handheld console.

either way, this is a good price for a PSP if you're after one, pink or not.

it's lite? wouldn't go near it - pink!?!

The slim and light have 64 mb internal memory to boost loading times etc, whereas the old style have 32

I have this and I have to say it is VERY PINK!!! Even I was suprised how bright it is!! Good price though so voted hot.

Point taken on game play (If you love Mario and pet dog games) but if you want to chuck in a large memory card and download the latest films to watch on trains etc it has to be PSP.

Highly suggest a black cover to hide the Pinkness of this one !

In defence of the over sensitive DS fans the PSP battery life is not enough for more than a European flight where DS can handle 8 hours plus !

Best thing to do is buy them all and have your own arcade in doors !:prop:

DS is great if you have an R4 or similar. Thats another reason it sells so well.

I think livelongHUKD meant it's fat, as in it's not the newer slim and lite version.
And can not be used with TV, as in the original psp doesn't have the tv out function.
I dont think he was dissing the psp by calling it fat! :p

The psp can do what I think you meant just fine without a flashcard :whistling:

just needs a bigger memory card than what is provided with this pack :)

In a world with a purple sky maybe.

hehhe, quality of games. You ARE being sarcastic, right?

The PSP is fantastic if you flash it with custom firmware and use it to play PSX games and emulators (CPS1, CPS2 and MVS being my favourite) but the PSP has very few commercial games (just a few hundred) and 90% of them are terrible or bad. 9% of the remaining are average. On the other hand the DS has thousands of games, and whilst most of them are bad there are far more fun games than on the PSP.

fat ?

yep, like a big fat gegger. the slim feels much better to play. (although the slim looks much cheaper/nastier/flimsier).

But not for men?

Once you've paid for a copy of Lumines/GTA (or got a datel tool, or got a friend with a already CFW psp to make you a pandora battery) and got a 2-4gb MSPD it works out at around the same cost as a DS flash cart and a MicroSD card anyway.

There is no way on earth that the quality of games is better on the DS. PSP all the way for me. It does everything, WIFI, Music, Films etc etc etc

Long live the PSP!

The DS can do all of the above with the R4/M3 card. Granted movies look better on the PSP screen because it's bigger. I have both a PSP and a DS. Graphics on the DS aren't as good as the PSP but game play is much more fun. And there are more games to choose from for the DS.

In the end, it's user opinion.

There are soooooo many good feature in psp slim then in the first version but me not gonna argue about it, its personal choice, some ppl like it some dont. i only suggested some things to consider b4 u buy one of this phat psp

i own two of this and wanted to change to slim when i saw my friend having slim (white, much better look wise and feature wise and less in weight) and i also own PS3.

i know psp is to play on the move but why not use TV and enjoy bigger screen when you are in the house, and as one comment said you can play ps3 on TV, let me tell you something, not everybody have or can afford ps3.

i think this post sums up everything

the games are like... my 'very first pet dog', '10 games in one dartboard fun' all junk...

I have both PSP and DS and each are equally good, just depends what genre of games you wish to play.
As for a Pink PSP (the actual subject of the post), is anyone buying them??
