Just nipped to Morrisons and saw these reduced to clear - they had turquoise, black, silver and lilac with game left... Hope this is some help to anybody :p

Manufacturer's Description
Introducing the New PSP

PSP-3000 also includes a built-in microphone, maximising the communication features of products such as Go! Messenger and Skype.

I Went There Today, It's Completely Fake I Asked The Staff They Said They Never Sold a PSP Slim & Lite For £70 Here, It's FAKE! Everyone Do NOT Waste Your Time And Go There Never Existed. Also No Proof That It's Actually £70

Are these Morrisons and other supermarket mark-downs posted on here based in small towns or something? Feels like we NEVER get a deal like this in London supermarkets, unless it's a nationwide one.
#20
I doubt this is store-specific :/ id imagine it's on a central pricing system..?

We have had regular deal listings for clearance game titles (PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Wii) over the past few months & quite often I have been unable to find the items at the prices as quoted in the deals.

This PSP may well be being reduced to clear, but there is no guarantee of any in stock at every store; there may well be only one or two scattered across the UK.

I don't doubt you saw the price label you did, but until we have multiple sightings (or even a purchase) then the current deal temperature (of 385 degrees) is misleading, I think.

That said, if the offer was nationwide I would be interested in a Mystic Silver model, but I was in a store this evening & they did not have any PSP consoles for sale (at any price).

[EDIT]: Did you notice if the item you saw was a PSP-2000 series (2003 for UK model) or PSP-3000 series (3003 for UK)? [/EDIT] - Sorry I should learn to read! :)

BFN,

fp.

Hot, if correct. However, mine has been gathering dust for the past 18months (not even sure where it is).

My in laws don't have internet connection which I miss when we go there for a week or so (sad I know).

If I bought one of these could I go online with it and if so do you have to pay any kind of subscription to do that?

Sorry for being thick but I have never used or even seen a PSP before........ It's my age!

So does that mean I would have to be in a 'hotspot' and not be able to go online whilst in their house?

I've had several deals like this in my local store (Pinchbeck), presumably because 90% of locals can't get onto HUKD as their webbed fingers stop them from typing correctly?

I'd imagine there is a lot more 'deal competition' between people in your area :)

You need some source of internet from somewhere. Of course you cant browse if there is no internet in the house or in the vicinities.

Worth getting if you also have a PS3, as you can watch and listen to the PS3 media on the PSP. You can also watch TV on it, if your Playstation has Play TV.
I have one of the very first PSP's not sure it warrants an upgrade, as I hardly play on it though.
Good find OP.

Right, so it is a down the pub or sitting outside McDonalds jobber.

I was thinking it may be the same as my Skypephone S2 where I can go online basically anywhere. Cheers for enlightening me. :)

Do they all come with the same game?

I wouldn't think you would get a football game with the lilac one. :)

Dealextreme sells loads of replacement parts. If you can wait a couple of weeks or more for your stuff to arrive as they're not known for speedy delivery.
