Why the chill?

Cheapest and most reliable place you'll get it, don't hate the product, hate the deals themselves.

I mean come on, a tube of Ass Cream is at the top!!!

Heat added due to as stated by OP cheapest and most reliable place plus Quidco has always paid out from HMV. Cheers OP.

Nice one mate, at least someone understands how this place should work.

I added heat, great deal. Other users will probably vote cold as its not in stock (pre-order)
I am waiting for Game to get it in as I have a voucher for them. Seems to be a shortage here as release date was last month but still most people offering it as pre-order.

Couple of Amazon sellers are trying to cash in on this seen £120+ for a sharp shooter!!
#6
Where does it say its a pre order?

Mine was dispatched after 2 days?
#7
It's the cheaper in UK ?

Because Axelmusic sell US version, but didn't have stock...
All units are selling on ebay..

And Amazon don't have stock too.nSo very hot deal i think.

Shopto sell for 39£

My pre-order comment was due to most places struggling to get stock. Game still says pre-order even though official release date has gone. Other sites say 1-2 weeks basically the same it's when they expect to get stock. Know people who still haven't had a despatch from play after more than 2 weeks.

This is why I mentioned the shortage and people taking advantage on Amazon's Marketplace etc.

pre-ordered from HMV on the 23rd Feb, turned up on the 2nd March (so a wait), but IT IS AWESOME!
The extra fiver off sweetens it more and last I checked, they had stock!

See you on the battle field soldiers! LOL

I didn't like it because I struggled to pick up moving about with the navi, the controller was well made and the trigger action was good. Hot from me.
#13
ordered! cheers been looking in shops for over a week for one of these

voted hot!!! as its the cheapest but i wouldn't pay that much myself unless it included one of the controllers otherwise i just see it as those kids guns which doesnt make sounds and cost like 3 times more. I would rather wait for a copy cat to copy this like the Nintendo wii gun and other accessories
#15
lets hope they don't go bust before shipment .... lol
#16
£30? wow.
#17
Got mine for 34.99 last week.29.99? Well worth it!!! Heat added
#18
too much for a plastic add on even if it has a digital trigger..if you think about the Wii version of this would be the Nyko Wand and that came with the digital trigger gun as well as a Nyko Wii Controller and that is about £35

Just saw a video review of this on IGN and it looks like a hefty and well made piece of kit. Comparing it to most wii attachments doen't seam to do it justice!
That said I'd feel more comfortable paying around the 20 quid mark or maybe getting it in a bundle with a controller. Either way voted hot as best deal for now :)
#20
£30 for a toy gun? If it came with a controller i could understand it, but wow ...

Not voted either way - I think it's a bad deal on a value for money perspective, but it is the cheapest around.

Best price = hot

Absolutely fantastic product, I had to buy all the move stuff and the sharp shooter and the game, so set me back a cool £140 for about 7 hours gaming so far on Killzone, it sounds a lot I know, but it has to go down as possibly the best gaming experience I have ever had and trust me I spend a LOT of time playing games. So much more involving than a pad. I now realise that with a pad your brain doesnt quite make the connection between actions carried out on that and actions carried out on screen, however with a gun it is a lot more interactive and you do feel like you are part of the action.

It takes an hour or 2 to get used to it , and sometimes the calibration is a pain as if you move around a bit in your seat it goes off slightly, and it hurt my wrists a bit after a couple of hours of holding it tight into my shoulder, but these are all minor complaints when compared to the amount of enjoyment I got from it.

The reason it is so expensive is because it draws power from the Move controller to power the trigger (not mechanical pully trigger) and it has the square and triangle buttons just above the trigger on the side of the unit, it also has a reload button underneath the magazine and a mechanical pump action reload. It is all wired inside, and doesnt simple press one of the butttons on the remote.

All in all a great product and dont regret buying it one bit, just wish Killzone had lasted a bit longer :( .Still got hard then elite to play it on though (played it on normal for a change as I was getting used to the controller) Multiplayer its not so great for, but I think that is probably more down to my getting used to moving it around quicker and having to up the sensitivity rather than it being impractical.

If you can, I suggest you get it, you may not like it, but I loved it :)

What does it actually do for you? It doesn't have a sight on it so you're still just pointing the thing at the screen like a fancy remote control.
#24
i had one of these on launch day for killzone 3, was ok but mine had a fault where it kept reloading so i took it back. I personally dont think it really added much to the game and not worth £30 should be £15 at most.
Also i have had problems with ps move and found it really hard to control due to lots of scrolling problems like lots of other people in the playstation forums

#27

Go watch some youtube vidz on it, lots going on in side, buttons from controllers on the gun in easy accessible places. + fire rate switch (sweet!)
#29
Yup, I'll be grabbing this with any luck. For those wondering, it's more than just a plastic shell. The Move actually plugs into it, and remaps many of the buttons to more functional places on the gun itself. It should be the best way to play the game with Move.

I Paid £34.99 from play along with killzone 3, I play socom a lot & with socom 4 also being compatible i thought i would give it a go, its well made & not bad but to be honest but its to much like hard work standing in front of the tv with the gun in my opinion, so back to the controller now ;)

A clip on that worth £30 ???? REALLY ???
#32
Cheers OP, ordered one of these from Play last week for £35 quid BUT the Play order is for 1-2 weeks......Ordered this one as well, oh and you can get TopCashBack which takes it down to £27.50 ish as TCB is 5% on accessories......
#33
thanks op, hot from me. preordered one from play.com but it arrived smashed to bits, gutted cause there's none available anywhere atm :-((((.
will get one of these and save myself a fiver ;-)
I've been playing killzone 3 'freehand' as it were and I can definately see the potential for this bit of kit (just wish I didn't have to wait for it!)

Is it just a plastic attachment? Surely it can't cost them much more than a few pounds to make - if Sony really wanted to push to make move successful, they should be selling these at far more realistic prices!

theres some electronics going on in there...the buttons are remapped so its not just a holder for the other two controllers...I guess its alot for what it is...but personally I think its awesome

What?? you have to stand up!
#38
Like i said before..the Nyko Wand does exactly the same thing for the wii..remaps buttons and even makes them configurable and yes it also draws power from the wii remote. That was £40 for the gun and a Wii controller. This would be much more appealling had the price included a Move or even the Navigation Controller.
#39
Does it need the Navi controller too, or is it fully functional (eg. for Killzone 3) with just the normal Move controller plugged in?
#40
You can use this sitting down or standing up, or even lying prone IF that is how you want to play X)

I agree it is a bit much for an add-on, however, NOBODY is forcing you to pay it.......so stop whinging about the price.......At least its better than £80+ for a decent steering wheel and pedals for GT5, etc.

As for the Wii comparisons, give us a break.......There is NO comparison to the Wii and Move ;) Different systems, different games, different pricing structure and in NO way comparable!
