I am the last person to push Sony products, but it is hardly comparing like with like!
15 minutes is a a LOT shorter than an hour, and in battery charging that's a BIG difference. The Sony one even has fan cooling for the batteries! (I know quick charging is not so good for batteries, but they are barely dearer than disposables these days, so it isn't gambling much if it does shorten their life.

I use a 15 min charger as well as a slower "intelligent" charger. Both have their good & bad points - but, as a photographer, the fast charger can be very useful !

To be fair, when you are charging at those sort of rates, you aren't going to get the full capacity out of the battery. £7 is quite a lot too when something costs £20!

I was going to say it too, quick charging batteries are bad for them get one of those slow 24+ hour chargers and the batteries will ultimately last longer and hold charge better. Good to have for a spare set of batteries for a quick charge if you have the money to burn.
