Excellent deal! Thanks.

:-D Bought one of these yesterday, cracking price !

Review states they are very slow, can anyone confirm? I feel it's worth paying a bit more for the extra speed.

I'd like a second opinion, too as that lone review is a bit off-putting.

Heat and rep.

The speed's fine, I haven't come across a single USB drive I'd describe as fast. It's £5 for crying out loud.

Be VERY CAREFUL, wouldn't trust and waste your money on it.
On my 3rd one now - only seems to last 3-5 months, basic usage as well.
I will return back to shop and will NOT get another now.

My cheap memory stick (unbranded 512) is still running strong, well over 2 years old.

I don't rely on using as hard drive idea (storage).
Transfer only - memory sticks are only designed for it and if you have precious files etc on them, your be well f**cked off when it errors and loss of data.

Good Luck :0)

Funnily enough I was looking at play yesturday for a USB drive and saw this, almost bought it until I saw the review. Bought 5 2GB drives from 7dayshop for £14.99 delivered instead as I was after quantity rather than capacity.

Spend £10 instead of £5 and you can get a 4 gig Scandisk Cruzer from 7 dayshop, these are FAST!

This flash drive is stupidly cheap wow I needed a 8 gig but now I will just buy 2 of these
plus I love light blue hot!

Hmm might use this to try the Vista Readyboost thing, since it's so cheap. Anyone know if this would be suitable and if it's worth it?
