That price is plus VAT so £411.24 or thereabouts, so a saving of about £70 over Amazon and Play etc.

Even with the vat its still a hot deal.

And its not just for business...
You have photo id.
You can print a copy of your bank statement.
You can make 2 invoices on microsoft word - Just use a business name and the same address as your bank account and id.

Simple - I did it!

Might wait a couple of months and USB3 should be the standard. But good deal if you want this spec.
#9
Shouldn't the VAT be included in the deal headline price?
#10
if this was a mac it would be £900 so in comparison with mac. Hot deal

But that would be true for nearly all laptops compared to mac's.

why post an excluding VAT price?
#13
Poor CPU but good brand. Not hot at £411 though.

I have a makro card threw my mates buisness, if you know somebody with thier own buisness just get them to ring up and get you a card.

Yeah.. so please put incl VAT price in the headline? I wasn't sure Makro was that type of place but I can't be in the minority in having to pay VAT on my purchases?

I had all the documentation they required and they still rejected my application! I went back again and talked to someone else and they gave me a card without any problems, so I would suggest to keep trying if they say no first time. They are also wise to the home-made letterheads and invoices, which is why my first attempt was unsuccessful. I used my passport as ID and some eBuyer invoices with my 'company' name on.

If you are making a special journey just for the laptop make sure that you ring the store as my Bristol store has a habit of being out of stock of special offers, which is quite annoying when it's a 70 mile round trip!

And what's the date today? My post says it's not live until next week. The live stock levels seems to be a new thing and I guess varies according to which few offer items they use it for. Next week it's the Sony laptop and a Sony LCD TV.

Very nice laptops, stylish and well built with good specs. Having said that, I managed to source an open-box one for £375 from Argos Clearence at the very end of Decemeber, so I don't think this is a amazing deal.
