Had one of these last year when sainsburys were selling them off cheap. Nice looking laptops but the keys are a little on the small side and the battery life isnt great.

Price wise, this is hot. 8)

Shame it's a Sony

Fixed. :D

Not a Sony hater. Just of their laptops/netbooks because of their torred batteries.

Not the best review from PcPro "Standard components, uninspired design and poor battery life make this a VAIO to avoid" http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/laptops/356716/sony-vaio-m11

Disgusting specs.

I don't care if it's a netbook. How could anyone use such a low powered device???
It would drive me insane!

Ignore the fanboys. Great little netbook at a great price - Heat added

I am typing on one now that I have had for around a year - at significantly higher cost than this.
I use it everyday.

Regrading the battery life. Im still on the original battery - as with any laptop/netbook there are power settings ranging from full on to power save. On power save (which I use 90% of the time) I get 10 hours on a charge. Not bad. This is fine for web browsing, downloading etc.

I dont use this laptop for Office applications as the screen really is too small for me to use for things like word where I want to see the whole document on a page. I dont use it to play games.

I watch youtube, iplayer, 4od etc without much problem on this but i do have 13Mb broadband,

I dont use it to rip dvds / convert files as clearly this isnt a power pc. Use it as a quick and easy mobile web device and its great at what it does.
