the links dont seem to work

this one takes u to the sale part and u just have to click on the laptop part

If people are gonna just vote cold at least give a reason. its possibly the best deal out there for a sony and even a laptop this spec so i would be interested to know why its cold!

Just seems to be getting colder, seems people on here really dont really bother reading posts and just click the cold arrow. Would love to hear why it is cold!
looks like a respectable deal. My inlaws will only buy Sony because they don't know any better, but this seems to be a very impressive laptop for the cash anyway.

Rep given.
Don't know why this is blowing cold ... being a Sony, its rock solid build quality IMO.
Dixons have the VGN-NS10LS, comparing the specs seem the same. For £399. Can be had for £390 with the discount code.

However, there is a bit of a mix up with the CPU. It says T3400 same as this model from Sony Style, but when Googling the LS model, other sites show it as T3200 (2ghz) as 2ghz is mentioned on the Dixons site. Hmm
they are similar specs but u get a much bigger HD for it, faster CPU and more RAM :)
VGN-NS10E/S Intel® Pentium® dual-core processor T3400 2.16GHz
VGN-NS10L/S Intel® Pentium® dual-core processor T3200 2.00 GHZ
I haven't voted it cold but maybe these are some of the reasons why:

There are quite a few laptops on this site (ACER / HP / SAMSUNG) which looking purely at the specs and forgetting the make/badge, are much better processors (e.g. core 2 duo) and graphics card wise. Plus there are one or two sony deals around that are very similar. I haven't studied the specs and differences but one above and another here for [email protected]:

It looks like you are paying a higher price just for the Sony here rather than specs, which most people might not look for when buying budget laptops. Maybe a picture will help:
the core 2 duo isnt that much better than dual core, but i do accept it is better. I posted this one after seeing the argos one for a different option. Personally i would pay the extra £40 as you get a faster processor, 1gb extra ram and 90gb extra HD space. I think that makes it worth the 40 more - this is just an alternative for everyone. Though you might think you are paying for a badge, i have had HPs, Dells and Compaqs before to name a few and my vaio is far better in performance and durability. I feel that i am buying a better product from sony and getting more of my moneys worth however that is just my opinion :)
Yeah, I'm very close to buying this laptop.
I've been searching for them obsessively over the last month and I can honestly say that this is the best deal I've found (in my opinion).
