Looks like a good laptop

Nothing flash and loads of free junk software.

OK CPU. New but average graphics.
Anyone also wanting to play a few games will be far better spending £319 on the ebuyer HP 6735s offer.

NOW ay £313!

1280*800 is a bit low res for a 15" screen imo.
#8
good price, but £408 delivered from play.com after 5% and before possible quidco =)
#9
Same product but for £404.87 delivered (plus quidco approx £6.88 makes this £397.99) and with a free Belkin carry case worth £39.14! Stock due in on Monday and can be ordered now. http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/296465/sony-vaio-ns10l-s-pent-dual-core-t3/

It's not too great imo. Lower end CPU and integrated graphics make this seem expensive. I paid £70 more for a 17" Studio with C2D 2.0, and 256MB 3650 GPU with HDMI out etc.

For the Sony brand though, I suppose it's cheaper than usual.

You can't compare Sony to Dell. That's like comparing Pioneer to Sharp.

You sure about that? Considering that it is a well-known fact that lower-end Sony stuff is often garbage.

Agreed.

Seems like people are giving this heat without knowing what the deal is. This is an average price for this Laptop NOT hot. As people have previously stated, it is cheaper at play. I mean Currys charge £429.99 for this and its a high street retailer! (http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@2097223849.1229189506@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccdiadeflmjhhehcflgceggdhhmdfok.0&page=Product&fm=1&sm=0&tm=0&sku=301908&category_oid=-34014)

Get it from play, Cdiscount or Dabs or better still get the ebuyer deal. There are far better deals out there!

Bad comparison choice. Although Pioneer TVs are the best in the market, Sharp aren't that far behind. You should have chosen a company that doesn't manufacture Pioneer's LCD screens for them :P.

Agreed.

This deal has expired. No longer available from Ebuyer.

Also, the NS10 can be had for the same price in John Lewis with a 2 year guarantee.

I did look at getting this laptop and a few others mentioned on hotukdeals but settled on this one in the end http://www.ebuyer.com/product/148229

Which John Lewis store?

It is out of stock on the JL website and Watford store at £439.00.
